Thracian Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/leicesters-kelechi-iheanacho-sees-specialist-over-toe-injury-36045757.html Seems strange this one. The bloke's given a bit part at Arsenal but deemed fit enough to make his debut for eight minutes. He hardly touches the ball and then we hear he's got injury problems again. Why do I get bad vibes about the lad and why has something always seemed amiss about the fact of his coming here? Just imagination I suppose...but some people just seem to carry problems around with them and all the bother over his image rights - and his resulting lack of preparation time - hardly helped. On the one hand we've got a striker who's regularly given his all with his broken wrist in plaster. On the other, well, I don't know what we've got apart from what seems like the start of an ongoing headache.
Guest MattP Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 This transfer always seemed strange right from the off and everything since it had been even stranger.
nnfox Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 It's all part of the plan. To prevent Man City from activating the buy back clause, we'll just have him down as injured for the next 4 years. Man City will forget all about him. We'll then start playing and he'll score 200 goals a season before we sell him to Qatar for £3bn. Smart business imo.
cc_star Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 ManCity didn't take him on tour so he was short of match fitness, he was fit enough to play a part against Arsenal so he was in the squad He got injured in training on Mon/Tues (can't remember which) And now there's something going on? Really?

Fox92 Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Strange substitution messes up our formation against Arsenal, injures himself in training and struggling
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 There are only three letters needed at such news. FFS

Well he did, having got subbed after 12 mins Did our medical team miss a part of that initial injury Vs BMG, clearing him for Arsenal and potentially prolonging his return? I just thought it was said on here he limped out of training early in the week & it didn't look good, I'm not ITK or anything
Wdywd Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Maybe he got injured playing his tough tackling midfield role last weekend
Jonezy Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 I really miss the good old days when no-one ever got injured...
Merging Cultures Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 BTW @Thracian I was going to say in response to one of your earlier posts that I always enjoy your writing style.

I saw what happened, it didn't seem anything that doesn't happen all the time. Man up and get on with it.

dynamark Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Proper 1960 toecaps and no problem plus you can hit a good tender, with wooden studs of course.
Merging Cultures Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Is Alli playing this weekend?! I heard the rugby season has been cancelled... I am all hopefully that Iheanacho will pop a lot of goals in this season. I think he has a lot of talent from what I've seen of him at Man City. But come on.
baldeagle Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Chirst some of you panic more than a woman thats just got a spot
Foxxed Posted 18 August 2017 Posted 18 August 2017 Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean a billionaire club isn't landing injuried players on you.
