Good , for both sides (the club and the owners)

impossible to say what’s true or not true in football but 100% I believe the source that had told me they are looking for a partner.

this issue in Thailand is bigger than reported here , much bigger

As long as it's good for the club. I think we've been fortunate to date with them on the whole and if bringing in another partner benefits us then great. What we need to avoid is any instability or uncertainty. Seen it with other clubs to their detriment.

Try google. It's not a secret.  Maybe 'king power charges' would work ???

There is some changes coming at the club  they will be no longer the sole/owners by end of 2019/20 season !

You heard it here first ;)

I’m pretty sure that has always been the case tbh. When they first set up the company that owns the club there was another person involved, then later they added another guy who was occasionally seen at matches.

So nothing new even if your rumour turns out to be true.

As board members, yes but nothing obvious re ownership.

as long as the new people aren't  yanks or from around the Indian sub continent (these guys have proven to be more business based investors in football so less keen to spend ) then hopefully be ok.  I hate stereotyping ..........

I am more startled by the posts that claim we have took out a bank loan, so the owner went to the trouble of clearing the debts, we make a profit every year and have taken out a loan?

Agree this is very worrying. Sounds like what Lerner did at Manure, big loan to pay himself back any puchase cost, serviced by future income. Net effect club for free, plus massive asset that grows each year debt is paid, with view to sell for huge profit. Using income to service debt significantly reduces cash for transfers, so lets watch and see how this plays out if no significant incoming and lots of outgoing players.

The article doesn't say that they took out a bank loan, merely that the owners lent the club £100m which we already knew, and is partially part of the reason along with the Trestellar deal that questions have been raised by the Football League regarding possible financial doping to circumvent the financial fair play regulations that were imposed. This is old news.

I don't believe the owners are corrupt.

There's plenty of others at other clubs that seem to have done worse but have been let off lightly.

Realistically while we're in the Prem they're never going to be able to investigate, would be a challenge if we got relegated but I doubt they'd investigate again as they'll have some other problem by then.

Have they not settled the FFP yet?

Assumed it had come and gone since the QPR one seems to have passed.

Unless im way off.

Google our accounts as we have to declare them they clearly state we have what amounts to about 30 million of loans with a bank for the next 5 to 7 years so about 210 million owed to some bank.

Football league have no hold over us. And premier league can't enforce football league fines. Only an issue if relegated we will owe a lot of money to football league if we are.

Thats my understanding - QPR got done because they got relegated

So basically as soon as we don't have some well off owners, we're probably going to get relegated and go into admin.

Pretty sure that was always going to be the case ( well the relegation bit)

The bank is probably in the beneficial ownership of KP !

Haha true. Ideally we get relegated with Wealthy owners that can foot the bill.
