FOXYTALK Posted 20 October 2017 Posted 20 October 2017 Hi All, Casting the net far and wide, whether you consider these names big or not. As a club we want to lay down a marker to take the club forward with a combination of tactical nous or attacking play or success with the clubs they have managed and managers with a success of transforming players alike. Barak Bakhar Guillermo Almada Marco Silva Diego Alonso Eddie Howe Kurban Berdyev Senol Gunez Rafa Benitez Eduardo Berizzo Unai Emery Rui Vitoria Ralph Hasenhuttl Luis Enrique Marcelino Gian Piero Gasperini Marcelo Gallardo Lucien Favre Personal choice is Favre, pay the money get the man, achieved success at 3x clubs he has managed/managing. We must move on from Shakespeare and look to the future. LCFC

Tuna Posted 20 October 2017 Posted 20 October 2017 I wondered what happened to Roger Schmidt and it turns out he went to manage in China.
winteriscoming Posted 20 October 2017 Posted 20 October 2017 I think it's a good different list. I also like Favre and I think we could get schmidt. Other foreign options which I think might have been already mentioned markus weinzerl Christophe galtier paulo fonseca Paulo bento I just hope we do look at the foreign options available.

I think it will be down to what the owners perceive as a big name. A big name will cost a lot of money. As fans we want success and maybe not so much the name.

Just because you havent heard of a manager does not mean hes a bad manager.
