How do you start your day...?

Depends on the time of the year, where I am, who I'm with and whether I'm working or not.

Always set an alarm if I have things to do/ places to go but have only needed it once in the last 10 years at least.

If away and working:

up

toilet

breakfast

shower

clothes

out

approx 30 mins from bed to out the door

if not working:

sex (if available)

up (as in out of bed because probably on the way down by then)

Tea for the sexed one in bed, coffee for me

feed the cats

feed the dogs

Breakfast whilst catching up on news/footie/messages

shower

clothes

walk dogs on the beach unless the weather is too bad

I start the day with a bit of half man half biscuit, it helps set the tone.

Now you’re talking mate.

Wake up 6:45, out of bed and shower. Get dressed around half seven, make my lunch and breakfast. Done by eight, watch t.v. until half eight then drive to work.

Go for a pee. Anybody saying different is lying.

Nope. Definitely cup of tea with a cigarette first, then a wee.

It depends either Nigel wakes me up at 5:30 or I wake up before him and go down to let him out (my dog not our hero).

then I’ll make coffee in my tassimo and enjoy that in the lounge while quickly checking my phone. Then I’ll get showered and ready for work. Then make pack lunch sort out Nigel’s breakfast then I’ll either chill or head to work around 7:15.

All while trying not to wake the mrs.

On  days when I'm at work the time from when I get up to when I leave the house seems to go at triple speed.

I always seem to be behind schedule without quite sussing out why.

Anyone who can do the gym first thing needs to be sectioned.

Best time to go. No traffic, gym not too busy, blows away the cobwebs and sets you up nicely for a productive day.
