Tommy G Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Had a ramble in the office about this earlier and it’s interesting how many peoples routines differ...I used to be literally out of bed quick shower and out the door but as I’ve got older I tend to try and have breakfast and relax a bit more and generally have a better start to the day. One thing I now do is nail a 500ml bottle of water when I get up, feel so much better during the day. I want to try and get to the gym but hats off to anyone that manages that before work

I'm a disgustingly lazy student so I set my alarm for about an hour and ten minutes before I need to be in, whether that's a 9:00am start or a 12:00pm

Get up, have a wash, clean my teeth, have breakfast, get my lunch together, make a coffee and then drink that on my drive to work. How anyone can go to the gym or exercise before work is beyond me, I’m mortified if I miss 30 seconds in bed.

Brush teeth (find it quite odd that some people brush their teeth before eating something!..). Watch TV (hardly much on at 07:30). Leave property and soldier on for the day.

Straight to the gym for 45 minutes, leave at 7:40, on the train for 7:50, at my desk for 8:20, put the office pot of coffee on and have second breakfast. Feels effective being in such a routine, work gave me the morning off on Monday so I had a lie in, it completely threw me for the rest of the day.
