Feels like christmas. Go back on nightshift friday, so am able to watch the first 2 days play. Just hope it goes better than the last couple of times we have had all night cricket.

Fork me, I just went to put the cricket on Sky only to find it's not on.

It's on BT. When did that happen? I'm paying £75/month for Sky and

they've got womens cricket on the cricket channel. It's a piss take.

Head says 3-1 Aus, heart says 3-2 England. 

 

I think we could get a result in all 5 matches with the bowling attacks on show and so many question marks over the batting. 

 

Could do with winning the toss and batting today.

A lot of cricketers have hair weaves / transplants / advanced hair technology.

 

The vast majority are batsmen, allrounders or keepers. 

 

I tried to think of baldy bowlers who have had hair weaves and then done the adverts.

 

Beyond Warne, I’m struggling.

I can remember Rana Naved having balding hair one season then had long hair the next!

I got caught out by this too. Assumed it was on Sky. Only discovered earlier that it is on BT!

Not only do BT Sport give my subscription money to Hoddle for meaninglessly bumbling on about football, they also employ anti English non English traitor and all round wunkstain Kevin Pietersen.

I love an Ashes series down under on the radio. Reminds me of when I was a kid with a crappy transistor radio in a time when just being able to listen to a cricket match on the other side of the world was incredible. Listening to them describing the humid heat of Sydney or Adelaide whilst I shivered under the covers of our non centrally heated house in Leicester evokes wonderful nostalgic memories for me.

 

Wonderful stuff.

 

Still, need to sleep now. Hopefully wake up to a decent score by England. A draw would be a great result in Brisbane and would open up the series...
