I would say thing are moving in the right direction rather then it could be special, our style of play is developing, we are looking after the ball better, whilst still attacking with pace. 

 

If we can improve our defending of set plays, we would be a very decent side. Top 8 doesn't look beyond us and we are handle place in the league cup.

It is early and of course I would take a draw against the Saints on Weds but it feels different to the good run after Shakespeare was appointed. In that case we were great at returning to our title winning formula but this time we're using a new style, or at least evolving towards one.

 

However, I'm going to stick my neck out and say I think we are the most potent attacking force outside the top 3 and could win the next two games. Most would say outside the top 4 or 5 perhaps but I'm making the case for more optimism. I think we have momentum and confidence, two potent forces, and Silva to come. 

 

However, if we sell Mahrez we would probably go backwards again and of course there are always injuries and sending offs to contend with. Nothing is certain by any means and I recognise the perfectly valid comments about 'work in progress' etc. but I think we do have thing potentially special.

I seem to remember reading that Wenger wants him to take over at Arsenal in a couple of seasons time which shows you how much potential this guy has. I believe he will do good things for us maybe not one Ranieri’s level but definitely MON’s level winning us a domestic trophy.

I don't really believe in luck. Some things are beyond control, yes - but we've been doing enough to win of late, and have had a few fortunate bounces go our way.

The winds can shift, and we can start playing poorly - but right now, there's no reason why we can't win the next two.

Bit of a reality check needed.

Got three points at Newcastle with a comedy gold own goal and were

They were unlucky against Arsenal. It'll be tough but it's doable.

 

Claude has inside information remember and a score to settle.

 

He'll be up for this one and hopefully he can get the team up for it as well   

 

However, all said and done........... I'd take a draw

We are looking much improved at the moment, but something special? We have been something special, in more ways than one, for a while now.

 

If Claude can do a cup double and finish in the top half that is pretty special, then we can plaster his face all over the city and sack him 6 months later.

We have never won the FA cup so I would love to see us win it.

i think we have a good chance this year.

we should not be worrying about relegation if we keep the current form up, all the big teams are still in Europe and the draw was decent
