I fasted yesterday and again tomorrow. That looks a bit more than what I have. I've lost around 9lbs since Christmas ( I had a week off when we moved house) so not bad.

Well done !

Have lost 18lb since 3rd January which I’m happy with. Have cut out bread 6 days a week(bacon sandwiches on Sunday morning was too much to give up). We all eat much healthier now, hardly any oil used to make any dinner we have. I don’t eat crisps at all, I do have the occasional bit of chocolate but usually go for an Alpen light bar or a Slimming World bar. Have swapped sugar for sweetener in hot drinks.  Mum gave us an actifry at the turn of the year so chips/wedges are much healthier than before. I still have a good booze at the weekend but it’s coming down steady enough for me. Would like to lose another stone by the end of the year.

lol I was 18st at the beginning of the year and am down to 16st 10lb this week. I’m 6’ 2’’ and have always been fairly broad. Am happy with my progress but ready to keep going.

Currently eating no red meat or bread at present . Forced to due to illness. But I feel a lot healthier for doing it . Fish every day and not the battered variety.

Slimming world starts this am. After a rather nice ruby last night, the scales have edged up to 16 stone. Too much.

Just over a stone gone through healthy eating, protein shakes, healthy snacks and training with a bin liner under my clothes - unorthadox but works well.

I’d have thought the full stop would have led you to making the correct conclusion Cambridge!

lol

Let’s not let a bit of punctuation get in the way of a chance to crack( albeit poor) a joke!

The trick with Quorn mince (or pieces) is marinading it overnight in your chosen sauce - it doesn't have enough time to absorb the spices if you cook it straight from frozen.

Took your advice Buce.

Decided to make some Quorn enchiladas in the end.

Cooked it up the night before with the spices etc and left it to marinade.

Really, really nice and I honestly wouldn’t have known it wasn’t meat, whereas before it seemed bland.

Cheers

Down 10lbs since beginning of the month. I need to lose a lot more. I'm currently 17st 12lbs. Not good.

Came home a few weeks ago for my Uncle's funeral. He was only 58 and had a heart attack. My Grandad died at 60, of a heart attack.

Thereis an obvious trend. I need to ensure I last a lot longer.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it on here before but instead of going to the gym I now go onto YouTube and do the Joe Wicks HIIT sessions. Some of them are only 15 minutes but they absolutely destroy you.

Did one last night and I was so close to vomming. Well worth a look for losing weight and getting into shape.

I think you've summed it all up in those 3 lines porky ...    where you are now ..   more work required ...   and most importantly, WHY you need to do it ! ..

Anyway mate, 10lbs is a very good start, so keep it up ! ...

Haha whatever works mate.

If you are looking for weight loss food can I recommend eating a raw muscle? I did this in Cape Town and actually lost weight while eating like a king.

I have downloaded the MyFitnessPal app and set my calories to 1500 a day to see if I can shift a few pounds. I am currently sitting at 14st 7 at the moment and in an ideal world I want to lose at least a stone.

My biggest issue is the beer, I don’t drink in the week but when Leicester play at home on a saturday I’m drinking from about 11am till 8pm normally followed by a takeaway of some description.

Hopefully by sticking to the 1500 calories the rest of the time I should still see a weight loss over time

I weighed myself yesterday and I am down to 13st 4lb now so I have lost over a stone in a couple of months doing intermittent fasting. Its the best thing I have ever done in terms of weight loss and really pleased in how I have stuck to it. The best thing is I have not gone without and still eaten and drank nice things within reason but just stuck to the different eating windows which was 16:8. My goal is still 13st which I hope to achieve within the next two weeks
