Don't knock it. Kante played 180 minutes every match in 15-16. He just warped time and fitted them into 90 minutes.

Ndidi, Gray, Iheanacho and Chilwell. I think that's the only young players who've had any minutes this season, except Choudhury's 9 minute cameo vs Spurs. Just shows how important Ndidi has become in this team.

Harvey Barnes has had a run out in the FA cup too.

Edit: unless this is PL only

Still good to be up there.  Nice to see.

Over the last 10 years in the top 5 leagues Puel’s given more minutes to young players than any other manager.

Remember when most seasons we would have one of the oldest squads. I think the average age of 30 was normal.

Good times we are moving away from that.

There's twelve teams in that list. Does that mean eight teams haven't fielded an under-21?

Could stand us in good stead for the future!

Hopefully Choudhury gets more of a chance, along with the likes of Thomas, Pascanu (when he recovers) and so on. We've got the right amount of experienced heads I feel to start to bring through some of our own players and should be finishing 7th/8th. I feel it will become more vital than ever to bring players through the academy considering the fees players go for now!

Got to make sure they are good enough though.

I watched Lincoln-Chelsea u21's last night and although it finished 1-1 Lincoln should have won by 4 or 5 goals, the gulf in class was huge.
