Has Gaelic Fox been banned again?

Just asking as just looked at his 'Apology' thread, and his last log in time was just minutes after writing it.

I've just looked and I don't think so.

The authorities didn’t come knocking and board off the son would not cover a full salary whilst on the sick. As I understand it, it wasn’t about not having a solution in place for his benefits being stopped, it was because she had to take time off work for health reasons and chose not to surrender information that could lead to her having even less money. Now because of this choice instead of accepting a small decrease to payback the shortfall, which I doubt amounts to any huge amounts, she faces the indignity of having no benefits and presumably could fall behind with major bills.

I doubt you have ever had to make difficult choices on how to provide for others as you seem to have no empathy for how this situation could even occur, but putting all that aside, a fellow Leicester fan has asked for advice for a crisis situation and you and others have decided this is the right time to aim a kick. If you can’t help or offer sympathy, why don’t you just keep your vile opinions to yourself?

I'm not going to write it in this thread as it doesn't feel appropriate (and I'd rather not) but you have an idea of my work history Strokes.

I'm not going to cast judgement as many are.

What I will say is that I'm pleased to see several commentators, who I know to generally have right of centre views, taking the time to look at an individual situation.

The reality of benefits is confronting us in this thread.

It isn't about freeloaders screwing the rest of us. It's about the unfortunate being put in - increasingly - difficult positions.

If you think there's a world of difference between this sort of thing and the guy claiming disability benefits whilst paragliding through the amazon, you're right, there is. Yet you wouldn't know it from DWP figures or papers like the Daily Mail.

Deb asked for help. We gave her our knowledge and ideas. I'd suggest a mod should close the thread until such a time as Deb deems it necessary.

Rude :o

Carl's deep cleanse routine:

Step 1: Insert beads.

Step 2: Consume a litre of prune juice.

Step 3: Wait a couple of hours, let yourself get proper backed up, if you're not bursting you've not left it long enough.

Step 4: Stand in an empty paddling pool and kindly ask a 3rd party to yank the ripcord.

And I'm the one that's rude? :D

I bloody knew it! It was the vehement denying that convinced me. If anything I thought tince would have sympathy with those who can’t afford to get fed some more.

The authorities don’t come knocking, but it is common sense to know that benefits stop when your child becomes an adult.

You know years out when these things will hit, so you plan accordingly, or not in this case.

I do have a little sympathy, which I stated in my original post as the OP is working, but really, you need a bit of common sense to know child benefit is going to stop and that should be on your mind years out.

The OP then stated they are going to have to ask for board, but don’t want to as it’s the lads 18th Birthday. Again, common sense and I knew I would be paying board at least a year before I left school.

It it does not matter if this board covers the debts or not, the main principle of paying your way should have been mentioned while the lad was at school.

I don’t want to be harsh as I have said as the OP is working and I commend that, but it’s basic decision making, common sense and planning, and this has not happened in this case.

Just on your point in me never being in this situation. Your right, I have never let myself get in this situation as I have made decisions beforehand to deal with potential circumstances. Have I been poor? Yes I most certainly have, but at those times more than ever you think what maybe around the corner, what priorities are and what could cause you a massive issue.

Like I say, I have sympathy to a degree, but with regards not thinking benefits would cease? , sorry schoolboy error or very poor decision making or both.

Benefits do not stop when a child becomes 18, they continue until they are 19, or leave full-time education, whichever comes first. My son was halfway through his A levels, so should have remained in FT education for another year, however in September we made a last minute decision for him not to return, due to a couple of factors. This wasn't planned. At this point I was no longer receiving my salary as I was off sick, again this wasn't planned. I could barely afford to pay my bills never mind put food on the table, so I put off telling anyone, all the time thinking I'd be back at work next week, then the next week, and on it went.

Quite how you think I should have planned to be off sick or for him to finish school a year early I'm not sure....

Dont get dragged off topic folks, here is a person, working hard, doing the right thing and our current society punishes her.

We should not have a society where one person can earn $100,000 per WEEK!.... or one can have $10 BILLION in the bank and another person cannot earn enough to live a decent life.

It is fvcked up and anyone defending the system is equally fvcked up.

Every bit as romantic of the 'photo' of his make believe girlfriend that turned out to be a screenshot from the web.

He's a pathetic fantasist.

I love how you all think I'm this Tincy fellow, really does make me laugh.

Anyway back to the topic, like stated in earlier posts, common sense or lack of has put you in this mess, then you didn't tell the correct authorities and still claimed benefits you were not entitled too, your lucky they have just stopped them and not took you to court for fraud.

Family and friends will be there to help You, maybe next time try and not have so much time off on the sick.

Do you remember what Webbo said? How do you think he knows who you are?

Let me give you a clue: have you ever heard of an IP address? Google it, then crawl back under your stone.

He doesn't know who I am, just because he's said it, doesn't mean it's true.

Would love to know why everyone is so obsessed with Tincy lol
