When he was brought in I was excited to see how he would nurture our youth, obviously we won't see the results straight away, but it was good to see him proactively telling Gray how to improve his game as soon as he was brought off. He puts a lot of faith into young players, like Chilwell and Gray, I hope they can make their performances consistent and repay Puels faith.

I don’t know what Puel said to gray but it should’ve been along the lines of “you’re nowhere near the player you think you are and your arrogance will always hold you back, you were crap today and have been for too long, book your ideas up.”

I have elite  man management skills ?

I think he said “you’re best crosses are your wayward shots”.  Seriously I thought it was great to see him publicly telling him why he was subbed.

Thought Puel handled the Gray substitution superbly, Gray has undoubted talent but for me he still has not done enough to start every game and even in Fox talk world when he has been dropped rested there are few complaints. Now Gray could be a Waddle, Hoddle Le Tissier type player who does not always look like he is giving 100% or cares 100% a bit like the criticism of David Gower when he batted as he was laid back. He certainly has the ability to be a top player but he is far from being the finished article and needs to be reminded, whether he listens is a different matter. Will be interesting to see how he develops compared to Diabate

Let not forget Amartey having 5 great matches then disappearing for a month, or Drago....

Man management is about keeping everyone happy, not just a few.

I think he has great skills in this department . Giving everyone a chance ready for next season. And was great to see him stop grey on the touch line and explain while he was being subed. Grey wasn't happy but if he looks back at nachos impact will see it was the right decision. But rather than let grey sit down and sulk he nipped it in the bud very good for everyone to see and the player will benefit if he is smart. The jury out on that at the minute. But all round he is doing well were safe and he is seeing everyone play competitive football ready to make decisions in the summer. Think we're very lucky to have him . And should reflect on what he is trying to build in a very competitive league . P.s apologies for my grammar please correct to suit. Peaky ? ?

Well Nacho came on for Chilwell it was Albrightoin who replaced Gray.

I think this is getting over analysed. Gray was upset because he knew that there was a great opportunity to get 1 or 2 goals for himself with WBA all over the shop. I think Puel would have probably told him that he knew he'd have  terrorised them if he'd kept him on but needed him fresh for Friday.

I honestly think he is seeing what he has ready too build in the summer. Hence persevering even when things don't go well . Or dropping players when they do. Using this season as a spring board for next season. Only my opinion . ?

Well if that’s the case it’s a massive shame as we actually still have the chance to mark the whole season a massive success with the chance of a cup final and European football.

I'm hoping he turns out to be a good manager for us but the past month has left some major doubts, he has the rest of this season to see how things go but the poor displays at home have to stop or the fans will turn against him.

I stand corrected but I would play nacho instead of gray. Again my opinion .

On yesterday's performance I would agree. I still think Nacho needs to be more consistent and the only way to become consistent is to play games. If he gets his chance in the next few games he needs to take it and not offer up some of that tripe he has done in the past.

The fact that people are trying to justify his bizarre management with 'he's trying to see who he wants in the summer' says it all really.

Massive game for him next week.

Agree with the sentiment that next week is massive for him in terms of fan base support.

Shame Silva wasn’t on the bench yesterday as those last ten minutes would have been perfect for him.

I think the formation is really important too regarding Nacho. Vardy loves being the focal point and his goal sums up why. I'm not sure what the formation was at the end but Nacho was playing No10 when he clipped it into Mahrez and I think he was behind Vardy for his headed goal. Trouble is for Nacho is if Shinji plays then he'd have to play as a 2 with Vardy which I think causes problems.

Spot on my friend. These two were treated very badly IMO - Dropped after performing admirabley.

Iheanacho isn’t a 10. Yesterday he was brilliant when he came on but unless he replicated that against a better team my mind won’t be changed on that.

Maybe something like this with Mahrez with a free role.

                                                                        Kasper

Simpson                                        Morgan                               Maguire                            Chilwell

                                                      Iborra                                 Ndidi

                                                                             Okazaki

                                                                    Nacho           Mahrez

                                                                               Vardy

Jesus, this is like what we played V Southampton under Ranieri.

The famously 2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1 formation should do the job.

Just trying to get Nacho in without upsetting Vardy or Shinji.

You could still get width from Chilwell and Mahrez.
