Norwichadamus do you know if they will have got VAR working properly by then?

There is plenty of bizarre management out there . Look at peps decisions last season. The special one all out attack the beginning of the season . Then all defence . You can knock or defend them all even fergie. But they are the managers for a reason and his record is good for us so far. Oh I forgot your abrasive . ?

Blue tinted specs of the folks on here. It was West Brom. Their manager is Alan Pardew. Their assistant manager is John Carver.

 

Anything less than what we got was grounds for instant dismissal.

 

Lets see what happens next week eh.

I noticed that as well, I assume the dodgy lineups are him just figuring out what the best side he has and he has to give them a proper run in the team to do so with certain players. Might as well get use out of the last few games of the as the best we can really hope for is 7th.

I have some doubts about his man management but there are some mitigating circumstances at least: no manager has ever been able to bench Morgan, Iborra was previously playing poorly and this was an incredibly tight squad, one which even dictated playing style to Ranieri. I'm not entirely sure what's going on with Silva (he could simply just be not that great yet) and I'm still not entirely sure about Amartey. Regardless of all of that I'm very happy he's engaging the youth and turns up to u23 matches.

He seems to be a little better than the beginning of the season

 

but he has been managing for 18 months over here now. Poch’s English seemed poor for the first couple seasons. He needs to be more communicative in interviews come the beginning of next season. Otherwise I really worry about him getting his point across to the players during games

Didn't see Gray's reaction to being subbed but if he was as stroppy as some are intimating at being pulled then he is miles away from being any use to us. Needs to grow up or play Championship level for a few seasons.

Oh lord, one win against the worse side we have played all season and people on here reach for the Rose tinted glasses. I saw no evidence of this magic man management skills over the past 5 games. Talk about short memories. lol

It must be difficult for him keeping them all happy. At the end of the day there’s going to be 3,4 maybe 5 decent players not picked. Silva’s omission from the squad yesterday was a bit puzzling, he may have been ill, or picked up a knock, but if not I’d thought he’d have made the bench.

That seems to be life as a LCFC fan, or maybe football fans in general. Win one we are great and lose one we are terrible.

For me the manager never actually answers any questions ever put to him. Is this totally a language issue?

Surely the players are as bemused by some of the manager's decisions as we are. Iborra being out of the side until yesterday the most baffling.

I'm not saying he doesn't have good man management skills, I really don't know. But certainly on the surface, as an outsider looking in, some decisions have looked questionable to say the least.
