UNION FS SUMMER TOURNAMENT – FOR LOROS – 9th JUNE
 
We are pleased to confirm that we will be hosting our 3rd 7-a-side football tournament in Leicester for the benefit of Loros Hospice Care on Saturday 9th June 2018.
 
The tournament is open to all, with cost of entry set at £5 per player (with suggested squad sizes of 7-10). We would also encourage anyone not interested in playing to come down and show support and give generously for this great cause. We have BBQ and beers available plus an LCFC raffle,
 
Full details of the tournament (including venue, kick off times and format) will be published across our social media channels and on here in due course.
 
In the meantime, please register your interest in entering a team by e-mailing [email protected]
 
If you can’t get a full team together, please still e-mail and we will arrange players accordingly.
 
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!

This sounds great, i might come down and watch.

 

Playing these days is a bit of a struggle. Had a bad leg break when i was a bit younger and tend to get really stiff nowadays afterwards. I left the physio treatments too early

Need a top class 'keeper, can provide references? Ahh, too late, just been told I cant play.

How about a walking team for us more mature players? The 'normal' teams could play walking when playing us? @Bayfox  would join me, -I think? - sure there are other 'senior' ft'ers that would love a shot at this.

Probably not a bad idea lol the lads have said they can barely manage 1 game a week let alone several in 1 day.

 

So depending on venue and weather I'm up for the bbq and beer part :schmike:
