Whilst it’s not a 25 year old from Barca, it’s a solid ball playing CB with experience and pedigree for sod all money who will bridge the transition for a couple of years. I think with all signings it would come with risk but that said at £3 million not much of a gamble, the wages must be within our ceiling so that is not a worry either really like you say fingers crossed he is a revelation (if he signs for us) 1
