I usually mute people rather than block - so they're effectively shouting into the abyss and they have no idea I can't see/hear it - but sometimes if they're particularly abusive or relentlessly boring / unfunny then it's worth a block.

I was blocked by the Moose a few years ago, wasn't even abusive, just questioned how legitimate one of his transfer rumours was .
