League 1 & 2 Thread - 2018/2019

Even after a big Summer ahead of them, Sunderland should really get promotion, at least via the play-offs, out of the League 1 - given their resources.

Think Peterborough will be up there with them, whilst Accrington have nothing to lose really and should give the league a good go.

Hope Lincoln continue their rise and do even better in the league this time round, and think Tranmere will surprise a few by having a decent season back in the fourth league.

I expect Sunderland to go up, heard there signing Sobhi from Stoke, maybe not good enough for the Premier League but far too good for League One. Luton to make a surprise play-off place.

Posh will get nowhere with Steve Evans in charge IMO. I see he's already started his usual slash and burn approach to the squad. 400k on a striker from Stevenage who scored 10 goals last season is not good business.

Paul Tisdale is now the manager of MK Dons.

A shame that he's left Exeter, a well-run club, for a club like them who shouldn't have been created tbh.

Barnsley have a new manager - Daniel Stendel joins after more than a year without a job. Last managed Hannover 96 in Germany.

Never heard of him, but really?

Bound to be a disaster surely.

Hard to define Exeter as well run when they put Tisdale on notice with his contract

Love that Notts got back to back friendlies in July against Derby and Leicester

I'm sure the local Dibble are thrilled about it too. lol

lol

Looking at the Bradford team for that game it was made up of fringe players and youth teamers, still pretty embarrassing though.

Went to watch Lincoln vs Blackburn today. Think Lincoln are going to struggle a bit this season. Haven't scored a goal in pre season yet and not creating chances.

Notts just announced that we will have 9 sponsors for this season. So the kits will feature a different one each month.

Last year we had four and now nine. Most teams have just one.

Our popularity continues to grow!
