Korea are missing Ki Sung-Yeung which won't help them, and they're already not great.

Depends on the Germans' mentality... Knowing that they are still needing to better whatever the Swedes do could either cause them to do what they did against Mexico and fall apart, or galvanise them.

Can't see them losing (or even drawing) though. As much as I'd love an upset and to see them go home, I think they'll do enough.

This afternoon Korean Rep v Germany

A Korean rep v Germany? Hope he gets up early, those towels don't put themselves on sun loungers.

I don't see any way that South Korea are able to stop the German steam train that has been set in motion in the Sweden game...

Germany through to the knockout stages.

Completely mad Sane isn't starting let alone not here, he's exactly what this team needs.

Still don't get the Goretza fuss either.

Stuck in work, 40 minutes in and no new posts since kick off...must be a classic!

Switched over to watch the Mexico v Sweden match, it's a cracking game , both teams having chances to score

Given that Sweden just took the lead, I switched to this!  Survival on the line for Germany with 35' to go, incredible.

Only half a dozen of us in here, and this is the most exciting half of the whole group stage.

Hope that is because everybody is working, not continuing the Messi v Ronaldo GOAT argument in yesterday's Argentina thread.

I’m sure Germany will be like Argentina yesterday and get a spawny winner to get them through

rubbish so far though

Hope not. It would be a crying shame if Mexico go out after one bad performance.

So far, this group and the Spain group have delivered the most thrilling entertainment in this tournament. All of the eight teams deserve credit for their effort here!

why are south korea so fu cking shit

They are technically skilled and inteligent to a man, in the back two thirds of the pitch.  Get within 25 yards of goal and they act like they have never seen a ball.
