Akhisarspor Match Thread

Interesting that its the second time in as many matches we've started without a recognised striker, despite having two of them available on the bench.

Hopefully Gray can get another goal and build his confidence going into the new season, as he's about the best example of a confidence-player I've seen. With Iheanacho finally looking settled at the end of last season, Maddison looking like he could be a brilliant signing, and Vardy, that could be a very exciting front 4 to watch.

In my view it causes a problem. Gray went on about having the chance to play in this position as he liked scoring goals. Reading between the lines it's his preferred position. If he goes back to wing, is he going to sulk?

I think it's a message from Puel to Slimani and Ulloa that they need to find another club.

No it doesn't, he said he's been working on it in pre-season with Puel do to Vardy and Iheanacho being away still and to help bring more goals to his game. He said he's enjoying it and would be happy to play there if needs be.

The stream is on, well it’s playing that weird music with the lcfc graphics moving about. Big improvement from Saturday so far.

Jeeeez we need a Mahrez replacement alright.

Still not convinced by Diabete.

Diabate’s great fun, never knowingly beats his man just once.
