Given it’s preseason and that we’re not playing many of our first team players i’m genuinely impressed. 

 

High tempo, controlling the game, Madders running the show, good interchange, one touch passing. 

 

Just like last year our final ball is lacking. 

 

 

And just saying that Iborra gives it away and we are thanking Ward for stopping us going one down.

I can see Puel letting him go. He’s used to a slower style of play than the one Puel wants. And the lapse passes make me think he can’t do it. 

 

Right now I’d select Hamza ahead of him. I really like the player but can see it happening.
