Tiny pitch! Good for working on close passing and touch...

 

And as I say that Iborra with a horrendous pass that should have put them ahead!

 

Get these mistakes out of the way in pre season hopefully!

I think it’s deliberate. If you want to improve a quick passing style then a narrow and firm pitch is ideal. A bit like a five a side pitch really sharpens up your touch and close passing. Remember the result is irrelevant really it’s more about the implementation of Puel’s dictated style and tactics.

I don’t mind the size so much and of course the result as you say is irrelevant my issue (and it could just be me) is the pace that the ball runs across the pitch seems very fast so not very indicative of what they’ll be up against in the season
