Guest ttfn Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 That is such a poor penalty from Aguero. Not only is it not in the corner, not struck firmly and at the perfect height for the keeper, he telegraphed which way he was going to kick it. The BBC live text described it as a “brilliant save”. Had he not saved it it would have been an absolute shocker.

He plays extremely safe and almost never tries to take on his FB.
HybridFox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 If Spurs lose this, Jenas will blame the psychological damage of that decision
trabuch Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Spurs are running on adrenaline at the moment. I expect them to tire.

That and sticking out wide, systematically hugging the touch line. I'm also noticing the lack of support when he gets the ball.
RowlattsFox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 I don't think it was a penalty, they are basically saying defenders cannot make attempts to block unless they stood directly in front of the striker because it's impossible to slide Infront without your arms being in the air somewhere. But it's Rose and Spurs so **** em.

They rarely turn out unless they're in real space.

Unabomber Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Jenas arguing that pen was mental. Always a pen with VAR. Shame Aguero missed

Finnegan Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Aguero has been shit mind. Needs to give his head a wobble.

One of the areas he has massively improved on, we certainly wouldn’t be saying Riyad was in the team for his defensive responsibility a few years ago

the fox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Pep refuses to change his tactics again. Sigh. He will not win the CL playing like that.
HybridFox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 BT with their total disregard for their "expert referee" again. What's the point of hiring him if you ain't gonna listen to someone more qualified!

deejdeej Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Definitely a penalty. Didn't see a thing before the replays though! Man city can be equally as boring as they can be brilliant at times.
