Super_horns Posted 18 March 2019 Posted 18 March 2019 Weekend games, promotion and relegation? Sounds like a Super league to me: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/03/17/champions-league-proposals-could-see-introduction-weekend-matches/

Oh dear - we'll see. Be whatever makes the most money that will win. Cannot see teams wanting to move league games though.

But ridiculous charging that much in the first place, which is the main issue here. €120, assuming 90 mins, it's around €1.33 per minute.
Nalis Posted 21 March 2019 Posted 21 March 2019 Fair play to Man Utd for taking that stance, daylight robbery from Barcelona.
ealingfox Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Hardly the Barcelona fans fault though is it? And they're the ones effectively being punished.

Yeah, petty for me to take that out on Barca fans. And ultimately Barca still get 120 euros a ticket, so they ain't bothered.

This situation happened with Sevilla I think the other year and when Man U said they were doing this Sevilla shat themselves and backed off. Wouldn't be so sure with Barcelona though, they're an absolute corporation and probably won't care. Plus to be a top-priority Member there you pretty much have to chop your bollocks off and hand them in at Camp Nou so those travelling to Manchester likely wouldn't blink at paying 120 euros anyway.
the fox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 OK, spurs' new Stadium not half bad. Has a Bundesliga/Liga Nos feel to it
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Think the Spurs new stadium and crowd can actually help Man City because Spurs look proper geared up already. Can see them getting a bit over eager.
trabuch Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 This could be the last Champions League match at Spurs for a while - so I would expect a good atmosphere.

Finnegan Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Hahahaha what a surprise Jermaine Jenas thinks that decision of a blatant hand ball being given is bad for football
StanSP Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Never a penalty, for me. Where else can you put your arms when your sprawling to block a shot?
