No Leicester City fan will ever forget the 2015/16 season as their team famously defied odds of 5,000/1 to win the Premier League.

Most supporters could reel off the heroes of the title win from Kasper Schmeichel to Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.

Not all will go down as City legends though. Here, the Mercury looks at where every player who played a league game, plus back-up goalkeepers Ben Hamer and Mark Schwarzer, are now.

That means the likes of Ben Chilwell are not included as they only featured in cup competitions.

Kasper Schmeichel

Still the first-choice keeper at the King Power Stadium. The Denmark international is rated as one of the very best in the Premier League, if not in the world. Was linked with a move to Chelsea or Roma in the summer, but very much still a City legend.

Ben Hamer

Now with Huddersfield Town after deciding to join them on a free transfer this summer.

Mark Schwarzer

Released at the end of the title-winning season, Schwarzer, 45, now works as a pundit.

Richie De Laet

Played 12 times in the Premier League that season, scoring once. He began the season as first choice right-back, but was replaced by Danny Simpson. He ended the season on loan at Middlesbrough as he ended up winning the Premier League and promotion to the Premier League in the same season.

Joined Aston Villa at the end of the campaign but then suffered a serious knee injury. Though still a Villa player, he was sent on loan to Antwerp last season.

Danny Simpson

Still with the Foxes, but looks surplus to requirements these days.

Wes Morgan

Formed a rock-solid partnership with Robert Huth in the title winning season. Although he played in the opening game of this season at Manchester United, at 34, he might have a limited shelf life at the King Power after City signed younger models on deadline day in Filip Benkovic and Caglar Soyuncu.

Robert Huth

Released at the end of the season, the big German is perhaps surprisingly a free agent. The 33-year-old trained with former club Stoke City over the summer and was strongly linked with Aston Villa, but no deal was forthcoming.

Marcin Wasilewski

Only played four games in the title winning season, one short of the figure required to land a winner's medal. A take-no-prisoners centre-half, he now plays for Wisla Krakow in his native Poland after ending a four-year stint with Leicester last year.

Yohan Benalouane

Joined City in the summer of 2015, but only made four substitute appearances in the league that season. Ended the campaign on loan Fiorentina. Still with the Foxes, the Tunisia international looks like being a bit-part player.

Christian Fuchs

The Austrian international arrived from Schalke in the summer of 2015 and played 34 Premier League games on the way to winning the title. Now 32, he has already announced he will leave City at the end of the season.

Marc Albrighton

Featured in all 38 games. Albrighton has proved to be a true masterstroke of a free transfer from Aston Villa. Still at City where he is highly respected for his work-rate and quality.

Danny Drinkwater

Formed a fantastic partnership with N'Golo Kante and signed a new five-year deal in August in 2016. However, he joined Chelsea a year later for £35m. His time in London has not been a happy one and he was linked with a return to City this month. Looks surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

N'Golo Kante

An inspired signing, Kante left at the end of the title-winning season to join Chelsea for £32m. It was his only year in Leicester, but what a year it was. Now a key man at Stamford Bridge, he happened to win the World Cup this summer, although he was too shy to ask to hold the trophy.

Andy King

A brilliant servant of Leicester City, King ended last season on loan at Swansea. Back at his spiritual home now, but unlikely to feature regularly this season.

Daniel Amartey

Played the required five times to get a winner's medal. Amartey is not necessarily a key player now, but he did feature 16 times last season and 35 the year before.

Jeff Schlupp

Ended the 2015-16 season as Young Player of the Year, but was sold to Crystal Palace for £12m in January 2017. He is still at Selhurst Park and had the honour of scoring the first goal of this season's Match of the Day.

Demarai Gray

Joined from Birmingham City in January 2016, making 12 appearances in the title winning campaign, 11 of which were from the bench. Has since become a more prominent player and will be looking to step into the limelight to a greater degree since Riyad Mahrez left.

Riyad Mahrez

Famously signed for just £400,000 from Le Havre, Mahrez was magnificent that season, winning the PFA Players' Player of the Year award. Since then there was always a feeling it was a matter of time before he left, mostly because he kept trying to leave. Finally joined Manchester City for £60m this summer.

Nathan Dyer

The 30-year-old spent the season on loan from Swansea, scoring once in 12 games. Now back with the Welsh club, he played 30 times last season as they were relegated from the Premier League.

Gokhan Inler

Remember him? Was meant to be a key signing from Napoli, but ended up playing second fiddle to Drinkwater and Kante, playing just five times to pick up a winner's medal. Sold to Besiktas in August 2016, he now plays for another Turkish side in Istanbul Basaksehir.

Jamie Vardy

Up there with Mahrez in terms of contribution that season (he netted 24 league goals). Well on the way to becoming one of the club's all-time greats, the 31-year-old has just signed a new four-year contract.

Shinji Okazaki

An important cog in the City machine as the Japanese international mastered his now-famous defensive striker role. It's a job he still does, although he's called upon less often.

Andrej Kramaric

Had one unhappy season in Leicester on a personal level as he played just twice in the Premier League. However, he has flourished in Germany with Hoffenheim and recently played his part in Croatia making the World Cup final.

Leonardo Ulloa

Will forever be a fan favourite in Leicester, Ulloa joined Mexican side Pachuca last week. Ulloa’s move brings to an end a career at the club which has seen him score 20 goals in 101 appearances for Leicester, six of which came in the title-winning campaign.

Joe Dodoo

The forward came off the bench once in the Premier League in 2015-16 before joining Rangers at the end of that season. Now on loan at Blackpool in League One.

Quick scoot over to the Blue Mooners and they are creaming themselves, Beat Arsenal at the weekend while in first gear, not breaking out of a stroll and while wearing blindfolds. They recon the league is sewn up already and most teams are going to get their arses kicked by team Abu Dhabi. On Mahrez, little mention but they are prepared to give him time along the lines of .....  "Our style of play is light years ahead of Leicester so it will take Mahrez quite some time to adjust.". Pity Drinkwater never quite managed the Chelsea style transition.

Always liked him as a player. PL winner with us and Championship runner up in the same season for Middlesboro is an impressive achievement.

Still remember the famous Utd game where he nicked the ball off of Mata and sprinted off down the pitch to set up Vardy for the 4th.

A couple guys won £2500 on Pointless last night naming players in the League Winning Squad with Ulloa. There was quite a few zeros to pick from.

just checked it's not on iPlayer yet  - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b00rhg2r?suggid=b00rhg2r

I watched it and boy did i keep getting triggered when Alexander kept pronouncing Ulloa's name wrong. Simple mistake as he was saying it how it spelt but super irritating lol. :D

(I went with Robert Huth, Danny Simpson & Shinji - 1st time ive ever got 2 pointless answers ever.)

I'm guessing Simpson and Shinji were pointless?

Where are Leicester City's title winners now?

May 2nd 2040

Kasper Schmeichel

After finishing his career at Leicester City with one more Premier League and a Champions League win, Kasper now spends his Saturdays as a pundit for LCFCTVHD4KExtra, while occasionally watching his youngest son Michael try to emulate his father and grandfather in goal for the newly reformed Leicester Fosse. Michael Schmeichel is said to be displeased about constant references to his family dynasty.

Danny Simpson

Now a women's rights activist, Danny regularly appears on MOTD5 and is still very, very sorry for what he did.

Wes Morgan

Captain Morgan still hasn't retired and can be found in Leicester's back four next Saturday against the newly promoted Arsenal.

Robert Huth

Robert was sadly killed in 2036 after being hit on his enormous head by a rogue football, believed to have re-entered the Earth's atmosphere after twenty years in orbit. It is understood that the ball originated from his free-kick against Stoke.

Christian Fuchs

The Austrian left back now lives in New York and now runs all of Manhattan's 'No Fuchs Given' 480 stores. The stores do not operate a delivery service as all members of staff are trained personally by Fuchs to emulate his long throw technique. His wife is currently US Vice President.

Riyad Mahrez

The now Vice President of Algeria has returned to his post after a throwing month-long mardy after his President, Mr Slimani, refused to let him join the US government.

N'Golo Kante

The little French genius retired from the public eye after winning all the things. He is understood to have become a traveller, with reports coming in all over the world of sightings of a Mini Cooper just appearing out of nowhere.

Danny Drinkwater

After leaving football for good in 2020, Danny returned to his Native American roots and now lives in Monument Valley in Utah. Despite initially having reservations it's understood that he is finally happy.

N'Golo Kante

See above.

Marc Albrighton

The dynamic Brummie now occasionally works as a General Election officer due to his experience with putting crosses in a box. He's said to be very tired after the recent Brexit 10 referendum, after the British public STILL couldn't produce the correct vote.

Shinji Okazaki

Leicester's never-say-die-Samurai-with-a-grin-that-could-light-up-the-Leicestershire-sky has since become a pop star in his native Japan. At the end of every song he simply smiles at the camera, which has become a global success with hospitals reporting that 90% of patients felt much happier about their impending doom.

Jamie Vardy

After scoring the winning goal for England at the World Cup in 2022, the legendary Jamie Vardy Party finally came to an end after his immediate retirement. The much delayed Jamie Vardy movie 'Chat Shit Get Banged' won the Oscar for Best Film in 2035. Director Danny Boyle accepted the award on Vardy's behalf, after the footballer was stopped entering the US with suspicious bags of white powder. "It's just coffeemate" was heard being shouted from a nearby cavity inspection room. Catch up with The Vardys on Sky One next Monday at 7PM.

That is genius ? particularly the second Kante post ? when you get time, you should do the other players too!
