LeicesterLuke91 Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 Haven’t posted in a very long time so thought this would be a fun/interesting topic to discuss. We all know things aren’t the best at the moment on the field, but they could be a whole lot worse too, so in light of this, what is your all time worst starting XI for Leicester City?
Guest Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 How often have we been sitting safe from relegation before the new year? I think those that reckon things aren't the best at the moment are living in a Prem title winning bubble.

Mark_w Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 Our shortest outfield player in goal (unless it's Kante), and ten goalkeepers.
tickler28 Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 Kevin Pressman definitely in goal.....Andy King in midfield with Matty James.....Carl Cort up front with Iheanacho

Guest Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 Controversial one but: Jamie Vardy. All he offers is pace and goals. Conversely I'd also say Kasper Schmeichel. Little pace, not many goals. And David Nugent. Squirrel botherer.
Thommo Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 You obviously didnt see King play in his prime...some of his goals were TOP CLASS !!

The only man I've ever know to have dyslexic feet. Couldn't hit a cow's banjo with a barn door. Anyways, midfielder and all that, ought to be running around in the centre of the pitch, not faffing about up top scoring goals. You don't ask the plumber to to tune the piano.
Analysethis Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 About 75% of the players that we had under David Pleat.
The Doctor Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 In terms of players I've seen, and only on their careers with us Rab Douglas Robbie Neilson Moreno Martin Keown Hossein Kaebi Josh Low Stephen Hughes Andy Johnson Momo Sylla Trevor Benjamin Collins John Subs: Kevin Pressman, Patrick Gerrbrand, Rufus Brevett, Andy Welsh, Radostin Kishishev, Geoff Horsefield, Barry Hayles
sylofox Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 Practically every team David Pleat named. Then in Mondays merc Bill Anderson and pleat reported from a different game to the one every paying fan seen.

bovril Posted 4 February 2019 Posted 4 February 2019 From players I've seen: Ikeme Makin Dabizas Kenton Nils-Eric Sylla Williams A. Johnson Hammil Cort Hammond

The worst thing was Horsfield was actually quite good for us when he came, compared to the other dross we had at the time.

Tbf, I'd forgotten all about Hammill, somehow being Leviens worst signing from Scotland. Hammill easily takes the bench from Welsh.

Casino Jimmy is in goal, not even pressman who in his defence was ancient when he was here, gets near casino jimmy. edit: not sure I can count him, as he never played a league game, possible not even a competitive game

Still not convinced either of those existed.
