RumbleFox Posted 17 February 2019 Posted 17 February 2019 Apologies if there is already a thread on this but could not see one. Just wondered what were people's favourite opening lines to songs? A couple of mine to get started...... Nick Cave - Into My Arms - "I don't believe in an interventionist God, But I know, darling, that you do." (Probably my favourite opening ever). Beach Boys - God Only Knows - "I may not always love you" (Mainly because I like a love song that starts with saying I might not always love you). Just two quickies off the top of my head to get started, I will no doubt think of many more. X
masterg59 Posted 17 February 2019 Posted 17 February 2019 my favorite You come for me In the worst of places You come for me You come and try to take me home I'm always in need And it's hard to be reciprocating The fabric of our life gets torn And everything's changing so how am I to know How I'm goin' hold on to you when I'm spinning out of control You and I together, but only one of us in love And everybody knows
