HighPeakFox Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 If my maths is right, can Fulham not still catch us, theoretically?

Yes, believe it or not there is a set of results that would see them finish above us. However it involves them, on a basis of average, beating both Liverpool and Manchester City by three goals to start with in the next couple of weeks. We do also have goals scored on them for now, and head-to-head if it comes down to it, over them. Happy to keep that one on hold for the next 16 hours, just for you Peaky.

I’d say you’re right, but bookies would probably only offer you 500-1 at best. Apparently something happened a few years ago that burnt the bookie fingers, so they don’t offer 5000-1 odds anymore. Can’t think what ?
Guest Posted 19 March 2019 Posted 19 March 2019 And teams that we can't catch: Liverpool Man City CL is still a possibility.

gerrytaggart Posted 2 April 2019 Posted 2 April 2019 Spuds are nailed on for 6th....only because it would take a monumental bottle job to finish any lower.

Dan Posted 2 April 2019 Posted 2 April 2019 When did a top six side last have a run as bad as this Spurs one? 1 point in 5 games Could totally see them blowing their first game in their new ground too.

He's a great manager, but he's not been able to find a way to get Kane, Son, Eriksen all firing in the same team

Would love it if they did. Be even better if they didn’t win their remaining games there too. Would be wishing they finished season at Wembley then. Should never been allowed to play remaining home game at new stadium anyway
Dan Posted 2 April 2019 Posted 2 April 2019 You can guarantee if they do struggle early doors in their new ground they'll blame that. That's their problem as a club - they love an excuse.
urban fox Posted 2 April 2019 Posted 2 April 2019 Spurs to finish 6th in a 3 horse race?? The way Man Utd are on a roll they will likely finish third now.
Corky Posted 2 April 2019 Posted 2 April 2019 We should add Cardiff on Saturday, providing we win at Huddersfield and they lose to Man City tomorrow.
