I’m not suggesting replace our home kit, just do a smart commemorative 3rd or 4th kit. As for multiple kit colours just look at Everton this year with a blue home and a navy blue 3rd. It doesn’t even have to be a striped shirt but I’m sure something could have been done to make more of 100 years as city.

Looks great in that especially with the pattern on the fabric. 

 

But again, still have to actually see it on. I've been stung by the 3D mock ups before.

Considering Adidas’ designs for the national teams, I wouldn’t be surprised if this design is part of a couple of our kits next season.

Shame Adidas have botched Wales' colours as it's a lovely kit that aside.
