Yeah I’m talking about tomorrow though. How do you turn up for work when a club legend says that. There’s literally no point lol

Tbf I could give the same answer and here we are lol

Mostly true, but the AI didn't write Vardy saying "shit show" come on.

I work with AI everyday minute of the day. If AI can generate renders of houses or images which depict individuals as toys in packaging then saying “shit show” is not difficult at all. All the AI needs to know how Vardy talks, his personality and the type of individual he is. It’s not difficult at all. Trust me

Guys, whilst I appreciate what has been said, this statement is and was generated using AI. Both Vardy and Ricardo have “—“ (double hyphens) in their posts, a typical tell tale sign. Both their statements also have the same tone and sentiment. The LCFC media team had these statements generated for each player and ready to go based on how they interact and are perceived by the media (so it looks like their own words). The media team have them run each statement through an AI Humanizer to make them undetectable. I train AI models so I know this! At this point, this club is a complete joke and waste of time. They know the loyal hardcore fan base who will turn a blind eye will keep supporting no matter what. Clubs finished!

I think the majority are referencing “for the fans…. Shit show” it’s a direct **** you to any pre written statement

I trust you but you just said: 'The media team have them run each statement through an AI Humanizer to make them undetectable.'

I know our media team are brain dead, but there's no way they would run that on Vardy's behalf and not check it, they'd delete that bit at the end. Besides I thought it was well established these statements come from PR agencies representing players with maybe a bit of it coming from the player. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/foden-tweet-lescott-social-media-b1831830.html

He has literally been flogged for most of the season the way he has been managed has been appalling. The whole of our attacking. shape and play has been woeful under Ruud,  look Vardy is and always be a legend at this club, I think the reason he points a lot is because he is coaching player around him, where they should be etc I don’t have an issue with that in the slightest.

what this statement shows is just how frustrated he has been with what has gone on. We saw the previous relegation season how a managers piss poor management of Vardy and negative tactics restricted his ability to be effective, lo and behold last season his game time was managed brilliantly and the team was well coached and he flourished. I don’t believe he is finished and as I have said previously I would keep him as long as it’s a sensible contract and his game time is managed he would be brilliant mentor to the young players that we will be much more reliant on next season.

He's 38 and played the most minutes for us this season behind Justin. This as far as I'm aware, is a record for an outfield player. Its hard to criticise him already but really it's not fair considering what he's been asked to do at his age in this shocking team.

He's supposed to make the odd start and be an impact sub. Massively mismanaged by Ruud and Cooper. Still managed the 19th highest xG which is impressive.

He’s nearly 40……. What do you expect him to do? He’s been played pretty much every game and expected to fire a team to safety? At his age? He’s been let down by the club and the manager….. he’s been hung out to dry.

Somebody on here made a great post a while back in regards to Vardy, in that as long as he's here, he's always going to be the main man, regardless if he's still up that role. It's why it's better for us if he moves on.

Don't think anyone will say that he has been managed well and I'm certainly not expecting him to score 20+ goals in this team, and in fact think his overall return is probably better than than you can expect based on the performances of the team. That's not my issue. My problem is that there have been many games where his effort level has been noticeably lower. West Ham away there was a shocking bit where he was just pointing at everyone else to close down whilst he made no effort to do anything when the ball came near him (ironically the one time he did actually run we created a chance). Faes levels of lack of accountability. So he absolutely has not lead by example this calendar year, and he's hardly your typical captain otherwise. 2 relegations where he's been one of the team captains now so he clearly is a massive part of the issue.

It's a slightly pointless topic to discuss anyway as people cannot remove the emotion when talking about him (understandably).

But he wouldn’t be if there was a another striker that actually looked anything like a half decent player for more than 3-5 games

People can rightly defend him, his nearly 40th and shouldn't be playing every week.

Which is fine if his salary reflects that, which it doesn't.

The only one who has the balls to say it how it is. Isn't blameless of course as captain and being part of that squad. But all we want as fans is accountability. And that needs to go all the way to the top. But I hope others follow

Are we really going to go down a debate of if its AI or not and if he really wrote shit show? The guy had his daughter shout **** off to the city centre and told us his feelings about us and Rudkin at the same gig. Even if it has, he would have sign off on it and its 100% how he feels. He never wanted to sit and cash a cheque and knows his premier league scoring chances will end in May forever.

Man owes us nothing at all and I feel it is 100% how he's feeling. Just hope Wrexham don't come ****ing sniffing around again.

What a load of rubbish - total waste of a post!

he has had zero service and should have been a squad member not a relied upon starter - he’s 38 and led the line in a team with zero creativity

he has been hurting for weeks and knew we were miles away especially under RVN - the bloke has tried 100% more than about 90% of them - his general Leadership has been good and he still has quality touch but never ever gone stretch defences but would have had 15 plus if we could attack and defend as a team.

as a club which has completely lost its identity I for one would love to see him kept in some capacity as we need proper winners and he’s about the only one who gives a damn!

Thanks, very nice of you to say so.

So you think he's done a good job as captain this season do you? How has his leadership been good? RVN is useless but it's still on the players to go out and perform at the end of the day and he, like everyone else, hasn't done. He's going to be captain of the worst top flight team in this club's history after being vice captain of the most expensive team ever to be relegated. Numerous times it's come out that he has gone behind a manager's back. Hardly the signs of great leadership qualities are they?

You'll notice that I said the service has given him little chance to score, or just choose to ignore that part?

As for being overplayed, that doesn't excuse his performances does it? With all the sports science, he'd not have been made available for selection, of if he really was struggling, he should have put his hand up and asked for sit out a game. Weird idea that he's been playing against his will. We've got an extra 8 games next year so being a year older how is he magically fit enough to do that. He's not going to want to play second fiddle to a championship striker next year is he?

As I said in my reply to others above, you, and many others are so emotional about him that there can be no discussion about him.

I love him just as much as you and he's our greatest ever player and nothing will change that but doesn't change the fact he's been a key part of 2 utterly embarrassing relegations.

Yep. So does that mean he's only half decent? In which case that's not good enough for what we needed is it?

He's been one of our better players for sure, but still nowhere near good enough this season, like all of them. The logic seems to be that because the alternative wasn't better, he can't be criticised? So that applies for 10 others as well then

I'm quietly confident no AI model will ever be one step ahead of my vocabulary, I just need some form of craft to be in a position to have to put out meaningful material. That might be more of a challenge 😂

People questioning this as AI? From a guy who killed a dog by feeding it beer, played football with a tag on and coined the phrase “chat shit get banged”?

Posted

Even going back 4 or 5 years in PL he started the season well but his legs went after Christmas. Whether we've been going for CL or battling relegation he couldn't get the goals in the run in.

Jamie Vardy (ne Gill) has several links with the number 9:

1. Wears shirt number 9

2. Hat-trick in record 9-0 PL away win at Southampton

3. Captain in record 9 goalless home PL defeats in succession

4. Goals total of 198 which equates to 9 for every player on the pitch

5. His original name contains 9 letters

Absolutely bang on from him.

Need more players to be like him when it comes to feeling a connection to the club.

Too many aren't arsed about what this club means to the fans. They're just here for the paycheck. At least Vardy cares or at the very least, acts like he does.

Only Pereira seems to have the connection too.

The one thing you can't accuse Vardy of is not caring. He'll be welcome any time, hopefully at a stadium that has a statue of him outside and a stand named after him inside.

Unfortunately, he's pushing 40 and he's on money that would be a millstone round his neck if we were still in the top five.

With great sadness and more gratitude than you will ever know, goodbye Jamie. And all the best in your future.

It means that we shouldn’t be relying on a 38 year old. Again it comes down to recruitment _

A smaller club riding the tightrope of psr can’t afford to carry passengers like Daka and have a decent number 2 striker when he is on 80k and the aging legend is commanding over 100k

Still expect more from the club captain and highest paid player.

We need leaders who speak up before it's all over.
