Foxes Stars Report Back At Belvoir Drive

Recommended Posts

Just read them all one after another. Love how Wes emerges at the end as the most succinct and well written, referencing working on their traits and values. True captain is our Wes.

Nice to see their characters coming through, we know Brendan is a fan of that. There’s a great feeling about this team and they’ve not even played yet. I’m real excited about this!

Shame that the group togetherness will be disrupted with the alleged news that Maquire  now wants out.

Just signed a 5 year contract as well. He said the money Leicester want for him is too much. I ask you.

Of course he did .............  you used the word ‘alleged’ and then make statements based on it being fact ...........

Final is on Friday (3rd/4th playoff is on Wednesday). And no, it wouldn't be ridiculous to see Wilf feature in the first game of the season.

I personally don't think we'll see Wilf back fully rested and then match fit for the start of the season.

Two very able deputies in Hamza and Mendy though.

The fact he's been consistently playing means he 'should' be fairly match fit and able to continue playing.

He'll obviously take a holiday, but he should be okay to be re-introduced fairly quickly, see Maguire and Vardy for instance last year

Maguire might go.  For a lot of money.

I would rather he stayed.  However, we conceded too many goals last year.  According to match ratings on this forum, he was our fourth best defender.   Losing hi  has jeopardy;  however,  there are several players who are higher priority to retain.

I am fairly relaxed about this situation.  I hope Maguire stays but won't feel unduly troubled or let down of he goes.

Leicester City pair Adrien Silva and Fousseni Diabate have returned to pre-season training with the club edging closer to a full complement of players.

Silva and Diabate are both back at Belvoir Drive, the pair returning a fortnight after the majority of the squad because their loan spells, at Monaco and Sivasspor respectively, did not finish until late May.

The duo have been undergoing tests at City’s headquarters and will soon be training fully alongside their colleagues, further bolstering Brendan Rodgers’ numbers.
