Pre-season is just around the corner for Leicester City players, but it will come a little sooner for some than others.

The Foxes stars will return at different stages based on their international commitments during the summer, with the first group assembling back at Belvoir Drive on Monday.

The last group of players aren't expected to arrive until as late as August, less than a fortnight before the campaign gets up and running on August 11th.

But which players fall into which group? Here's when we expect each player to return to pre-season as Brendan Rodgers looks to get his players into shape ahead of the new campaign.

Monday, 1 July (testing and training at Belvoir Drive)

Eldin Jakupovic, Ricardo Pereira, Daniel Amartey*, Wes Morgan, Sam Hughes, Elliott Moore, Josh Knight, Darnell Johnson, Christian Fuchs, Callum Elder, Matty James*, Papy Mendy, Andy King, Adrien Silva, Marc Albrighton, Layton Ndukwu, Rachid Ghezzal, Bartosz Kapustka*, Fousseni Diabate, Jamie Vardy.

Monday, 8 July (training camp in Evian) - international players

Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Ward, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell, George Thomas, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Monday, 15 July (back at Belvoir Drive, ready for start of friendlies) - U21 internationals

Daniel Iversen, Filip Benkovic, Hamza Choudhury, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, Demarai Gray.

Early August - Africa Cup of Nations internationals

Wilfred Ndidi, Islam Slimani.

Armatey's cast seems less ominous and more like a trouser leg in the Instagram video, where Mendy and Ghezzel also show up.

Silva just posted from the beach -- hopefully that was live and he is going to report to Monaco

Not long for slim and nididi to get to know Rodgers plans and train with what could be new players.

? the star by Matty James name, and then below injuries permitting, has he been anything other than injured.

Makes me look at the sqaud and realise what poor back up we have, strong starting 11 but that’s pretty much it, signings are needed

Me too. But that's more to do with the fact the wild west died out 100 years ago...

Wes with just a wash bag and a couple of LCFC carrier bags.....

Is he sleeping in the changing-rooms and having to buy his own kit at the club shop?

Fallen out of favour with Brendan? Chucked out by his missus? Spent all his pay on Captain Morgan rum? :dunno:

Roll on August.....

It’s always a bit weird seeing players in their civvies - like it’s no school uniform day  but only if you’d brought your 20p.
