Didn't quite hear what commentators were saying - something about 8 years ago? What happened?

We played them in a semi final eight years ago and we got a player sent off controversially by a half French referee that shouldn't have been within a hundred miles of the stadium.

Bit harsh, surely you'd allow him there as a fan? :D

To be fair, I'm also still fizzing about Lampard's over the line goal against ze Germans and Marc Albrighton conceding a penalty a yard outside the box, so it's good to harbour burning resentment.

France do play some really entertaining stuff.

That player deserves the guillotine for that, how do expect to get away with it?

Always thought the Lampard one was massively against the run of play anyway but yeah 2-2 could have changed the face of that game.

Yeah it could have motivated the Germans to go on and win 7-2.

lol wales, taken them 20 minutes to work out if they have an extra man they probably have an overlap, then proceed to throw the ball straight at the only defender on the screen. superb.

Finally Wales get a try.

Lot of errors from both sides in this half. Pressure getting to them?

To be fair, France have defended very very well this half.

But yeah we're shit.

That straightforward France conversion miss in the first half could be crucial.

and missing a penalty when they had an extra man, then going to the corner when it was 15 vs 15 a few minutes later. they should've been 20+ points ahead before the red card. silly billies.
