Probably depends on the technique of the kicker and the acceleration and leap of the defenders you have. You can only charge from the try line and only when the kicker starts his run up. So you need to be fast, need the kicker to have a very slow technique and ideally be easily rattled as its often more psychological than not. Very little point doing it to a confident and relaxed Faz. Only ask as I saw Ford being charged down in the previous game England played. Cheers for explaining
ScouseFox Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 when did rugby become so nfl in the way they celebrate every tackle like they've scored? has that always been a thing i've just never noticed?
ealingfox Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Bloody weird how there's just blatant forward passes and nobody cares but when the ball just drops to the floor like that apparently its a foul. Freaks.

We used to after winning scrums against the head, but I wasn’t playing in a QF World Cup against Australia .
leicsmac Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 It's been clinical above all else. Nullified the Aus threat (for the most part) and almost always come away from an attack with some points.
Vacamion Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 All very well and exceedingly nice, but the Kiwis will batter us next week.
Nalis Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Aussies truly are the Man Utd of rugby. Nice consolation try though, if its counted
ScouseFox Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 proper var that, "not sure it's forward" "yeah well i am so fu cking shut up, no try"
EastAnglianFox Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Cant believe the guy with the best view said he was happy with the pass, blatantly forward, even the ref was like wtf

Perfect use of how the technology should be used. On field ref reviews, corrects the missed call earlier, no drama.
Finnegan Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Skeen getting put in his place the highlight of the night.
Nalis Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Problem is, even IF we beat NZ (which we wont), we'll get beat by England because... 1 - England know how to beat us at our own game 2 - teams who beat NZ usually fall at the next hurdle, almost like it takes THAT much out of teams to beat them (France twice, Aussies in 2003) 3 - Quite frankly, England are simply better than us
Finnegan Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Sorry but that's incredibly negative. The English media and bookmakers will make England favourites if you play them just because that's what they do, over hype their own. But if Ireland were to play England at a neutral venue away from the context of this WC, most neutrals would back them. You've got a better team, a better coach and you should be beating them. You're structured, solid, well organised and everything England struggle with (see their game against us in Feb.) Plus, New Zealand are about fifty times better than England, if you can shut them down and win today (you almost certainly won't but that's another matter) then what on earth would you be doing being afraid of them? You'd have a very legitimate claim to being the best team in the world and the tournament favourites if you knock them out now. Forget the score you've just seen, Australia are abysmal. Comfortably the worst team in the quarter finals and England have always, always really been pretty ruthless at running up a good score in games they should comfortably win. I'm not trolling them by the way, just because we're on their forum, this is a good England side. It's just a better Ireland one. Nobody should feel embarrassed or ashamed in losing to that Japan side on home soil, they're a force of nature and everyone has an off day.

EastAnglianFox Posted 19 October 2019 Posted 19 October 2019 Haka's pretty lame when the opposition fans are drowning the whole thing out and the teams are about 30 feet apart
