ozleicester Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 Cmon, weve all had a brilliant idea for and App, tell us all here, so we can... A) laugh at how stupid you are B) Steal it, Make Squillions retire and buy Derby C) Actually start a go fund me that makes it happen D) Cry as we watch others steal your brilliance. My latest and greatest idea... "The Rap App" (*catchy title..cant fail) Im old but i like a bit of rap and hip-hop etc (am i saying that right?). As many of our senior folks probably acknowledge, one of the great disappointments of age is losing the ability to easily pick up the lyrics and meanings of you young folks modern music. I want an app that can bluetooth to my glasses and put up the lyrics on a head-up display so i can read Kanye's latest prophetic meanderings while listening to the song. - Brilliant and easy right? Next...
grobyfox1990 Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 Sharing baggage weight on a flight. I'm in despair when i'm checking a bag in at an airport and i'm 10kg over and trying every trick in the book such as going to the overweight counter, standing on the scales or only putting half of the bag on the scale, then i see someone swanning in checking in a 5kg back pack. Let's share the weight and i'll pay you for it. All sorts of security issues involved in this, obviously.
filbertway Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 I had an idea for an app that hooked up to your bets and showed you easily how your acca was doing without having to look at the scores on another app or tab. 3 months later loads of betting companies had them built in.
filbertway Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 This thread reminds me of this scene from curb your enthusiasm though
David Guiza Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 I used to pass a house every morning on the way to work with a cat sat outside waiting to come in and no catflap. I thought I had an ingenious idea of a censored mat that rang a doorbell to let the owner know the cat was there, turns out it was already a thing.

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 A football/sport travel lift sharing service. Advertise your spare seats and find ones you need. Negotiate contributions towards petrol money etc before hand.

Aus Fox Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 I had an idea for a make my movie app. You know when you have genius idea for a movie, but haven’t got the skills to make it. Someone can come along with the skills if they think it’s a good idea and make it. I don’t want any royalties I just want to see the movie that drunk me and everyone on the pub last night thought would be brilliant.

The Syrup Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 This thread is the 2019 version of Alan Partridge pitching TV ideas to the BBC... I'm off to create the 'Youth Hostelling With Chris Eubank' app now

I can see the George Constanza - Larry David connection haha George Costanza for me is the greatest comedy character of all time. It wouldn't of worked had Larry played himself in Seinfeld but Larry's writing and the acting of Jason Alexander were matched perfectly. The early shows can look a little dated but it's my favourite show ever. The jokes never tire.

We take fat people from the inner-city, put them in big nappies and then get them to throw each other out of a circle that we draw with chalk on the ground. If you don't do it, Sky will!
urban.spaceman Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 I was walking the dog the other day and it struck me after walking past a few houses up for sale that it would be cool if they put QR codes on the signs to make it easier for customers to find that exact listing. No idea if it's possible to patent it.
yorkie1999 Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 I'd like an app that tells me what new apps i need.

A detective series based in Norwich. Swallow is a detective who tackles vandalism. Bit of a maverick, not afraid to break the law if he needs to. He’s not a criminal - but he will perhaps travel at 80mph on the motorway if he needs to get somewhere quickly.

Be cool if they put them on top of these lorries bringing stuff into the country so they could drive through a scanner and it would be able to scan what's inside the lorry. Solve all these hard border issues that seem to be the problem with Brexit.
