Hearts by far the better team here, deserved equaliser

If their attackers didn't take five seconds to line up each shot, they'd be up 3-1.

Agreed, wasn’t convinced by that contact. This is far more the compelling watch than the PL match of the week.

Really enjoying Scottish football at the minute. Fan culture seems a lot better too

I don't know Scottish football like you folks.

But that was as much as I've enjoyed watching a match in a while.

Rangers the clear beneficiaries of today. Its crazy to think that they are 4pts off Hearts and 2 ahead of Celtic given how bad they where for the first quarter of the season.

You should watch more, I find it so much more entertaining than the EPL.  There are of course turds of matches, just seem to be far fewer.

Could be shaping up for an exciting Premiership finish.      Just hope Hearts don't repeat their 1964-65 and 1985-86 tricks, of completely messing up on the last day.

(interesting Championship game on Friday night Arbroath v Morton.  Definitely the most wind-affected game I've seen for a while.   Not that playing with the wind actually helped)

As much as I 100% want Hearts to win it, and the planets do seem to be aligning for them now, it would be kind of funny if Rangers did win it out of nowhere despite Russell Martin's best efforts lol

The equation is pretty simple for Hearts now, they just have to avoid losing those games against Rangers and Celtic and keep up their PPG otherwise. They have Rangers one more time before the split, so that's three cup finals for them between now and season's end - but you could say the same for Celtic and Rangers too in the circumstances. Bear in mind the Old Firm will play each other twice more as well, once before and once after the split. As it stands right now they could probably do with Celtic winning the OF game in March, but as long as Hearts continue to do the business and avoid silly slip-ups like in the Edinburgh derby they're well on-track.

Fingers crossed - it's about the only football story i'm actually invested in this season, besides my hiding-to-nothing hopes of Forest and Cov falling apart.

Thats the problem with any team trying to break the top two in Scotland. You can't just rely on beating the rest when 8 of your games are against Rangers and Celtic.

You've also got Motherwell having a cracking season - they might be a factor. They've got Rangers at home and the other two area before the split.

Aye but they are about to lose their best player (who happens to be Ex-Leicester) probably TO Rangers.

Hearts down to ten yet again.

Lack of discipline gonna cost them, must have had 3 or 4 over the last couple of months

Might get away with it as St Mirren rarely score.

Late winner for the hosts - bad news for Hearts.
