Haven't been watching the final what's he done?

Played on unnecessarily twice, about 70 points behind in the first frame with only pink and black left. And then same again in final frame, even tried to play on with only black on the table.

He's been making excuses all week, even when winning, while demeanor is a bit weird this season.

I understand he wants to get practice in especially with the tip, but he's taking it to ridiculas extremes, i wonder if he'd of done this if fans had been allowed in?

Selby made the mistake after the World semis of letting Ronnie know that his antics wound him up. So of course Ronnie is going to keep doing it.

Yeh, hopefully Selby has learnt the lesson. Ronnie has been doing it in every tournament that I've seen since the lockdown.

I think he's just decided to be as much of a dick as possible. In his head he's just getting back at everyone who might have attempted mind games in the past. Interviews are ridiculous and never make any sense, but his arselickers lap it up.

Still a brilliant player when he wants to be, just doesn't really seem all there mentally anymore. Still.more than capable of stringing frames together but if Selby keeps his head he should win.

Selby will want to get this done asap. That loss in the world semi really hurt him, especially as he would've won the final and Ronnie kinda half-arsed to the world title (only he could do that to be fair).

Generally speaking there has been a gulf in quality forming between Trump / Robertson / O'Sullivan / Selby this season so far and the rest.

He’s been doing that for about the past 2-3 tournaments, classed it as “I just like to hit balls”.

Bit his tip off about three times this week, he was lucky to make the final tbf, had quite an easy draw, Ding and Li Hang missed a trick against him.

Wasn’t surprised to see that Selby beat him comfortably tonight.

Just got around to seeing the post match interviews and nice to see Selby getting in a few tongue in cheek digs at Ronnie.

Impressed with how he spoke later on, admitted he has been mentally fragile but had been refusing to accept it and had convinced himself it was all technical errors.

Still think the world champ semi final is playing on his mind which could be a good thing as hopefully he's now on a mission to put that right and I've never heard him sound so positive.

Yeah, seen quite a bit of snooker whilst working from home and actually got quite into it, looking at stats, draws, results etc and there is definitely a top 4 and the rest currently. And even the top 4 are winning a lot of games without needing to be anywhere near their best. I think a lot of players are struggling with covid restrictions and all the tournaments being at Milton Keynes, lack of practice and spending so much time in an hotel room. Especially the Scottish players, and Shaun Murphy.

Yeah think its the consistency too. Players like Mark Allen beat all the best players to win the champion of champions but goes out early in the following tournaments.

Nice to see Judd smash Ronnie in his semi final 6-1

Ronnie deciding to play on when requiring 17 snookers... Tosser

I've just seen Neil Robertsons new hair style.

My god. Its a perm that Barry, Gary and Terry would be proud of.

It's certainly a sight to behold. IIRC he said his daughter loves it as its just like hers, so he won't be getting rid asap.

Someone should tell Jason and The Argonauts that we've found The Golden Fleece.
