JJS84 Posted 30 January 2020 Posted 30 January 2020 couldn't we buy him and loan him back, but add a recall option, therefore if he gets a work permit, he can 'be called back' and play for us, if not he stays on loan until the summer. its probably not that simple, but it could be.

I don't think you can recall a player outside a transfer window. In the PL, at least.

Ive no insider knowledge whatsoever, but I think you are probably right. If we cant get exactly what we need in this transfer window then we shouldnt look to force bad/mediocre business at high value.

Because the Bundesliga has no restrictions on non-EU players whereas the PL does via its work permit system. This will be a more complex work permit that takes time cos Burkina Faso are shit.
