The defender likes to drive forward in possession and Vitória often play with a high defensive line, which will be explained later in this scout report. Keep him around as backup for a bit then slowly introduce him to the first team once he's settled. No idea how good he is, but the fee isn't particularly hefty and there's interest from clubs of a similar stature, so sounds somewhat promising. Communication is key with defenders. Looks an interesting player, certainly not a bargain though and would still be a risk. Neither one of Soyuncu, Evans, Benkovic or Morgan will be able to communicate with him, it was a big issue Caglar had in his first season here. This is speculative anyway, I don't know for sure if he doesn't speak English but I'd suspect so. Weakness include awareness and concentration but at 20 yrs of age, this should improve with experience. This seems like it could be good business as cover and for the future.
