Can't help thinking the Chad bit is significant but that keeps throwing me even more

Isn’t a chad your ballbag?

I really hope it’s significant, can’t be many ballbag related sayings.

I’m going for.....

something old (antique)

Something new (Draper)

something borrowed (confectioners (Borrow a cup of sugar lol))

Something blue (ballbag)

And obviously haberdashery relates to the wedding dress.

Call me @Alf Bentley

Funny enough, I considered that answer - but couldn't find an obscure enough justification for it....you've outdone me. ;)

Rubbish! This needs to go to VAR.

"Hanging Chad" was a much better answer. "Who's the wunker in the orange shorts? Who's the...."

Down with the Baron! Confiscate his landed estates! Free his serfs! Snap his shooting stick! Burn his orange shorts!

Are you with me, brothers and sisters?!? :trumpet:

I must say it 3 times a day.

I'm surprised to hear that a patriotic chap like yourself is propagating slurs on the British nation uttered by a Frenchman who wanted to set up a European superstate run by the French.....

Might need a VAR decision on the definition of the word 'nation'.

My understanding is that a nation isn't definitively that of a country. Chad is a country, but (k)not necessarily a nation.

Definition of Nation 'A large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language'.

There is an argument to be had that the fact that there has been multiple conflicts and violence between the north and south clearly shows a lack of unity.

Might need a stewards on this...

Also a friend of mine is an antique dealer with her business entirely online...(k)not a shop to keep in sight
