I think the situation we are in, players like Maddison and Chilwell are critical for our chances. Their injuries (I might be wrong) didn't look that bad and with our squad depleted and the real tight situation we are in, we would take a risk on these players and the players would risk further injury to help us. It seems that they both don't want to risk further injury and I presume it is because they are eyeing moves in the summer and don't want to fail their medical.

Or we don't want to lose them for the start of next season or they just have no chance of being full fit in 7 days!

Yeah and I could be wrong, it's just something that I would have thought would have been confirmed as soon as they suffered the injury if they had no chance of being fit.

Load of bull mate. If they were off but not injured they would be playing. Maddison was jumping up looking so happy when we scored, I just think they are injured.

Maybe they were just hoping they would be fit, giving them as much time as possible.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see one leave, but not both.

They are genuine injuries. Have a word with yourself.

I can tell you know with confidence that Madders isn’t going anywhere. And neither is Chilwell, the club have already made their stance clear under no circumstances is Chilwell leaving.

Yeah I hope it is tbh. Both great players that I don't want to see leave. And I'd never question their commitment whilst they're playing but if he was jumping around the injury must not be that bad imo and nothing that an injection can't fix.

Kind of. Although hes not in the squad at all I suppose he can wear whatever really. The fact he chose what looked like a 1960s Olympic tracksuit was more annoying.

Both were clearly injured in their last games played. Brendan was giving them every chance to get fit. If they could play they would be playing! The end of season is a week away then it's only a short time off before it all starts again. He needs them back fully fit for that. Risking playing them when injured could make things a whole lot worse and we do not need more players needing operations. 

 

Madders is going nowhere and given Fuchs and Ricardo are out for a while I cannot see them letting Chilly go yet as there would be no full back cover left!

Sorry don't agree mate. If he is at the game and wearing athletic apparel, needs to be official City gear like Caglar did.
