Maddison, Chilwell & Fuchs out for the rest of the season

Sounds like Maddison and Chilwell are off imo. Hope I'm wrong and could be overly cynical but you see these injuries appear when players have made their minds up.

Chilwell for sure, at least madders was in the stands and looked happy when we scored

Don't see us selling 2 key players, and Maddison looks seriously happy that we won today. I don't see him going.

Luke Thomas to get plenty more football then, wonder if it may change the clubs position on Fuchs and finally let him go off to America

That is immense responsibility on Thomas' shoulders... Fuchs has been so solid for us as a backup. Wouldn't mind him staying and mentor Thomas some more.

Really bad news though, did not expect them all to be out for the season. That's three of our four first choice fullbacks out - and it's pretty obvious they're key to this team.

I honestly don't think Madders is going. Hope Chilly isnt! Exciting prospect having him and Thomas as full backs for Europe. I cannot see Brendan not playing them due to a move given the dire injury situation we are facing. Two big games left, if they could play he would play them I'm sure.....

Yeah that's true. He's been at every game whilst he's been out and was visibly happy when perez scored. Chilwell nowhere to be seen.

How sceptical must you be to think a player who has played a major part in our success this season is faking an injury to avoid playing to get a transfer, especially when they've barely played since March

Maddison has been at every game and is tweeting about us just like a fan. He won't be going anywhere.

Chilwell possibly, but he was clearly injured in the Palace game, and a problem with the sole of the foot will only get worse the more you train on it and play on it.

I'd back the club to prioritise CL qualification over guaranteeing player sales that would be highly likely to happen anyway.

Strange how Maddison went from a doubt against Everton but probably back for Palace, to out indefinitely

He is having that shell-suit surgically removed.   I doubt we would sell both in this window?

I don't think there would be the interest for Maddison during this transfer window when clubs know they are likely to be able to get Grealish for much cheaper

Because we played him against Everton. Do you not remember how uncomfortable he looked? Basically walking at the end and could barely take a corner. We rushed him back and now we're paying for it.

Because we brought him on against Everton when he clearly wasn't fit.

Looked sensational for about 10-15 minutes then could barely walk.

Did you watch the Everton game ??.  He was almost a ‘cripple’ fifteen minutes after coming on ..... No offence intended but he could barely move

You’re wrong about both of them going .... chilwell will go if someone pays the money. The club would like to keep him another season whilst Thomas beds in

Brought him on and HT and looked good for a bit but really struggled later on. Could barely take corners and looked thoroughly in pain. We rushed him back there and are now paying for it.

Actually he didn’t manage to take any of the corners which begs the question how on earth our physios let him anywhere near the match day squad .....

They were both clearly injured and could barely walk. I think given there is not much gap between seasons they are not going to risk them causing further damage for 2 games. Need then fit and back for next season. I really don't think he would not play them if there was a chance they could play given others are out too.

You could suggest a mixture of Maddison wanting to play and our shite performance pushed Rodgers to overrule them.
