To digress slightly I remember seeing an Arsenal match back in the day during Anelka’s first season there and he honestly ran at a speed I thought was impossible. Looked like the fastest player I had ever seen at that point. Actually I thought he’d go on to be one of the best in the world, kind of a wasted talent really. Bale got some pace too tbf.
