Leicester City 4 X 100m relay Team

Taking our mind away from serious football talk, who would be in your LCFC 4 X 100m relay team?

 

I seen an atricle in the Mercury earlier today stating that Cags had clocked in the quickes time in a Leicester shirt this season (23.33mph against Palace - Nov 3rd).

 

Mine would be:

 

1) Cags
2) Barnes
3) Ricardo
4) Hamza

 

Might be harsh on Vardy, Justin and Chilly. Got me thinking, is there a quicker quartet in the prem?

Apparently these are the most rapid according to the other players in training.

100m is actually a long distance for footballers. I think Vardy is quick but not over that length.

 

I'd have Chilwell, Soyuncu, Barnes and Gray.

we'd be red hot for the first two legs, then drop the baton before the final man falls over and finishes 8th

The only real threat I can think of is Man U with Rashford, Martial, Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James. Add Mason Greenwood to that. 

 

Liverpool maybe contenders with Salah, Mane, Trent and Roberson but I'd fancy us taking them

 

Possibly Palace with Schlupp, Van Aanholt and co. but again I'd fancy us taking them

 

Arsenal have also got a few young whippersnappers along with Aubameyang...

According to the stats:

 

Walker, Foden, Sterling, Sané would have given them a run for the money. 
 

Sané has done one though.

I'm sure I read somewhere Walcott ran a 10 sec 100m once...

Heskey a good shout. 100m is a pretty long distance - pretty much one touchline to the other end of the pitch. Even the paciest footballers rarely sprint anything like that distance.
