UEFA Europa League: Important Season Ticket & Fox Member Information

Leicester City will begin a new European adventure next month as part of the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League competition and the Football Club can now confirm some initial ticketing arrangements.

- King Power Stadium to host at least three 2020/21 UEFA Europa League fixtures
- Seats for home fixtures will be made available to Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members
- Club is working on the basis that King Power Stadium will operate at a reduced capacity
- Deadline for Season Ticket renewals is 5pm on Tuesday 8 September
- Fox Memberships for 2020/21 are on sale now

Entry to the main ticketing process will be exclusive to Season Ticket Holders who have renewed before the deadline of 5pm on Tuesday 8 September and Fox Members, as the Foxes join the competition at the Group Stage, with King Power Stadium to host three fixtures across October, November and December.

A number of teams have already qualified for the Group Stage alongside the Foxes, including the likes of AS Roma, Napoli, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, CSKA Moscow and Villarreal, ahead of the draw, which will take place on Friday 2 October, 2020.

The Football Club are working on the basis that, pending Government approval, a reduced capacity will be in operation for those three home fixtures, with seats being made available to 2020/21 Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members through a ballot system.

Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members will be invited to apply for the ballot for each of the three home games, with pricing of Category A and Category B fixtures that will be confirmed in due course.

Please note that this ticket information applies only to Leicester City’s home fixtures in the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League.

BALLOTS:

Leicester City’s UEFA Europa League ballots will be run separately from the Club’s Premier League ballot in order to allow for as many Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members to attend European fixtures as possible.

Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members can apply for all three home fixtures through the ballot, and if they are successful, it will not impact their chances in the ballot for Premier League home games. The dates for these ballots will be confirmed on LCFC.com in due course.

Please note that the total reduced capacity will be different to Premier League fixtures due to UEFA ticket requirements and increased broadcaster attendance.

KEY DATES:

Group Stage Draw | Friday 2 October, 2020
Group Stage Fixture 1 | Thursday 22 October, 2020
Group Stage Fixture 2 | Thursday 29 October, 2020

I’ve got a repetitive strain injury in my thumb now, thanks

My bad, it's come out horrendously on mobile. Any idea how to fix it?

What's the betting on Cat A prices then? £45? Maybe 50?

The Champions League for all three matches for STHs was £105 so £35 per game. They surely can't charge more for this?

I assume they won't offer a package because they'll be balloting each game, and this will be the cover to charge more per game.

If we draw an absolute pub outfit from Pot 4 they might do that cheapish though.

I wouldn't bank on it! Partly because UEFA have an influence on ticket prices. I'll expect £50 minimum.

The clubs recent ticketing comms isn't dissimilar to government corona comms

Deliberately confuse and in some cases make mistakes so that the discussion is amplified and eventually people just go along with it for fear of people thinking they're stupid for not understanding.

I'd say it's absolutely deliberate how both this and the season tickets have been handled.

Even the tweet announcing it didn't seem like it was going to refer to tickets.

Is this some kind of attempt at trying to get the remaining season ticket renewals through?

Maybe expecting a higher number of £70s coming.

If so I am glad I'm making them sweat.

I'd love for this to be the case but reckon you're looking at £40-50 per game, especially at reduced capacity.

Will the ballot be on a cycle again like the league games? Give a chance for fans to see at least 1 European game?

I’m glad you sorted it even though it now makes my post redundant. Thanks for the info 👍🏼

Also noticed the bit about lower allocations.

if 10% capacity is still in force, with delegations from both teams, UEFA, commentators, and massively inflated and increased media attendance, expect match tickets to be capped at 6000.

Think Wolves charged around £25 for group games last season so would think that would be the marker for us as well. A three game package in Hospitality is £445 plus VAT.

If people don’t understand this, then they’re definitely either thick or just making an issue out of nothing.

Or having a laugh
