Did it take you back to balmy late spring days, Wout Faes scoring a towering header as we were relegated to the Championship

It was shelved by then surely. It reminds me of the early part of the 19/20 season when we were smashing everyone in sight. In particular the 2-0 win v Arsenal in torrential rain

Sky Sports News really is dire now.

Eclipsed by social media - they’ve adapted to this by shoving on social media shock jocks. Give us the insight that only legacy media channels have access to - not more of the same

McDonald’s spicy McNuggets really do give you a torrid time on the loo the next day

The spicy chicken fillet pieces they used to do were a bastard for that too.

You have my sympathy, mon ami. It's brutal.

I remember (back in the mists of time) my local Maryland Chicken used to do a chicken burger + 2 chicken strips + fries + drink for a fiver on a Friday evening. Always seemed like a good idea up until Saturday morning

Goodness knows how I don't have more stomach issues than I actually do now.

Maryland built up a tolerance that will serve you for life.

See BBC have managed to butcher the classified results on Final Score. I know results are available before this and elsewhere but another example of something changing for the worse.

I don’t mind. In fact maybe quite like it. What don’t you like about it? Kelly somers and jadon Mohamed are o good enough to read out the scores

Not a great fan of Kelly Somers voice and need a break from it ( hasten to add not anti female presenters) Also prefer results read in traditional classified manner

Pimlico in London is possibly one of the weirdest set of streets I’ve seen anywhere in the World

One side of it is huge tower blocks with parade of shops underneath them and the other side of the road they are townhouses owned by millionaires

That’s common across many areas of London. Notting Hill, Queensway, Dulwich, Golders Green and East Finchley spring to mind. In east Finchley, billionaires row bishops avenue is spitting distance from a council block and best pub in the world the five bells

Agreed. I just find the Plimico vibe even more extreme

The proximity to the river and central London is what sets it apart from those other areas. Amazing the Pride of Pimlico still exists

I’ve just seen Trump has pushed for the price of Mounjaro to go up something like 170% in the UK!

Surely that stumps the market for it!

Sky Sports News really is dire now.

It's not news and it's not sports, it's just sky sports football. Could be genuinely huge news from golf/cricket etc but that would be eclipsed by them quickly breaking away because the Man Utd squad have just started training ahead of their dead rubber Europa League game against Lech Poznan.

Judging from the programme name they dedicated an hour on EFL fixture release day a few months ago, 12:01 strikes and before they give any fixture info away they start with breaking news of a transfer which has progressed... Not even been announced or whatever. Just something had progressed lol
