Thomas Cromwell wasn't a musician though.

Also, do you possibly mean Oliver Cromwell?

Edit: I get it now, you're talking about family legacy, not one person.

Still don't get the Elgar and Liszt reference though.

Sorry, let me clarify.

I was thinking that even though Bov thinks Thomas Cromwell is in Hell, Hell also has all the best musicians so he might be enjoying himself anyway. (The Elgar/Liszt reference is from Good Omens, where Crowley makes that very point.)

Shock horror: maybe the situation was more complicated than certain right wing politicians and commentators, who made hay from it, would have liked.

Have you watched the CCTV of the incidents prior and then all of the footage of the bit where Armed Police turn up?

What are your thoughts?

No, I haven't.

But the jury will have done, and will have access to all sorts of surrounding information that you don't have. And they couldn't decide, so it clearly isn't straightforward.

Hello fellow FT fans,

Today my wife is walking a marathon with some of her work colleagues for Baby Loss & Support Leicestershire & Rutland.

Unfortunately one of them has been through his ordeal recently and is wanting to raise funds and awareness and they've supported her during a difficult time.

I would be very grateful if any fellow posters would be able to contribute towards this if possible.

Thank you for time 😊

I was responding to his Mum's reaction to his omission from the World Cup Squad, which the BBC deemed worthy of mention.

Gotcha. His extended family have also chipped in was why I mentioned that. Must be saving their reactions for the World at One.

Surprised his younger sister hasn’t chipped in, too.

I have no issue with them commenting.   Why the press think we give a shit is the mystery.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before or if I’m miss remembering things but I swear McDonalds made a big fuss and dance about not have plastic toys in their happy meals. Maybe it was around the time of getting rid of plastic straws as well. Could have been influenced by the governments net zero target. For the past few months now they have had plastic toys back but still persist with the crappy paper straws that evaporates after a few sucks.

If they used decent straws this wouldn't be a problem.

However, the food you're buying is nasty crap, why should the straws be of a high standard?

Last two times I've been to McDonalds they had new bigger straws. Much better than the paper straws.
