There was a red one, pretty much identical (Rooster at Blackburn), but I think that was player issue only?

 

The white one was similar and I love that too.

 

Back in the day you'd have a kit for 2 years.

I'm gutted I bought a large one off a lad on here before Xmas and Hermes lost the parcel 😫😫

Hermes are fuching useless. 

 

My dad said he had something delivered by them, and the driver stumbled out of the van steaming in the middle of the day. She was staggering down the drive and shouting.

Best of luck mate. Bit too large for me plus no doubt it's a baggy fit. Shame theyve sold out of the remakes last season.

I’m trying to figure out if this hat is one of the old, official Bukta hats. Did anyone have one?

Have a few... I can still fit in them, but they're like a second skin... 42/44 sized

The Bukta one has a bit of yellowing on the collar, but considering it's close to 30 years old that's not too bad.

The sight of that red shirt has reminded me that according to the link below, City played in red and white in season 1903/04. But on p.22 of Of Fossils & Foxes, it clearly states that that season got under way with Fosse turning out for the first time in the blue shirts and white shorts ensemble we now think of as traditional. So something's not right.

I believe that was called a 'Leisure Shirt' at the time? Never an actual kit.

 

The red one was exactly the same as the blue one, but red. 

 

Can't even find a picture online, I'm sure @Rob1742could help out?

Very slightly different to how I remember it. I was about 12 at the time and would have killed for one.

 

The red Scoreline kit from the previous 2 seasons wasn't available to buy either, just blue home or white away.
