One goal in the last four at home in the league and that was a penalty.

If it’s not working for Vardy as it frequently isn’t at home we need to try something different but we never do.

Formation is not working but I feel like we've been outworked by a lot of teams this season

What difference does it really make playing home or away at the moment?

Clearly a lot judging by our results

Can somebody explain to me how we continue to fall in to this trap?

Every single time a lowly team sets up defensively against us, we revert to ponderous, mechanical football played at a walking pace.

We don’t use pace and width to get them working and instead are contented to play in front of them for as long as it takes for one of our ineffectual wayward passes to leave us open to a counter attack.

It’s a cut and paste job for every single one of these types of games under Rodgers. He must know that we have a poor track record in creating against sides that sit in so why the hell have we started with five defenders at home to a side who will do well to finish 19th this season?

Obviously supporting Leicester is an absolute pleasure most of the time but the sheer idiocy that causes most of our defeats is so agonisingly infuriating, surely I’m not the only one?

Thing is, Rodgers keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over again its actually so funny at how bad it is.

Like I said in the post match thread, how we played those last 10 minutes is how we should have started.  The personnel we end the game with, we should have started.

For 80 minutes we gave nothing for Fulham to worry about except an isolated Vardy.  Its piss poor from Rodgers again and I genuinely don't know what he's trying to accomplish in games against these teams.  I wish he would come out an tell us.  Because all I see is mr cautious, against a team pissing bottom of the league who if they went a goal down to a half decent side, would crumble.  And Rodgers plays the game not to lose.  Its criminal

What about when he got it tactically right vs Man City, Arsenal and Leeds?

I didn’t say he always gets it wrong but he certainly doesn’t get it right often enough to be considered a tactician.

Bring frank, we could have lost at Man City and Arsenal.

Being frank, we won those games.

if we’re going to start hypothetically reversing results that actually happened then we might as well delete this whole forum, since all reasoned debate would be obsolete

Comprehension not a strong point? Did I reverse the results? No. I simply stated we could have lost those games on the balance of play and chances. We didn't. In essence we took our chances and ride our luck at times which just balances the debate as to whether BR is a tactical genius or not. It's a fine line win or lose sometimes.

The thing with tonight is, we could always concede a goal, no matter what style or formation we play.  But for 80 minutes, Fulham didn't need to worry about us.  THATS the problem.   It was the same with West Ham, it was more or less the same with Villa, it was the same with Liverpool.  If you give them nothing to worry about you cannot win, unless you get a sucker punch goal which very rarely happens.

We should have started tonight on the front foot, two attackers, really going for it.  If we had conceded a goal playing like that then fine, you keep going and we would have found a way through a few times.

Playing the way we did, nothing was going to happen apart from either nil nil, or they score first and we chase the game.  But no, they score twice, we change sod all and ride it until the last twenty minutes when we go all out to get back in it. Then look what happened, Fulham got nervous, we scored and I bet that with another ten minutes on the clock we'd of levelled that game.

It just doesn't make sense. These games we should be going for it.  Not sitting back playing ultra defensive.
