Whether Seagrave or St George's Park, it matters not a jot how good and 'state of the art' the buildings, pitches and facilities are if you don't have the right coaches, management and players with the requisite skills and more so, attitude and commitment. I sometimes wonder what our coaches have been doing one week to the next!

I'd say so. Amount of talent coming through the academy is fantastic.

 

Continue producing top young talent and it'll pay for itself easy.

 

Probably the only thing that has been done well.

 

Although you'd think the club aren't proud of this area given the embarassing lack of coverage

I’d imagine it won’t be long before this is sold and we move back into BD. If we go down, I’d expect that to accelerate significantly.

Build a world-class training facility.

Get relegated 2 divisions.

The Administrators will sell in a fire sale of assets once King Power go bust, and the club is in receivership, in 18 months, after a year in Div 1. No one will buy it before then, when they can get it for virtually nothing.

The model surely has to be build a reputation as a club that develops great youth players, and sell a number each year to cover the costs of seagrave. Primarily keeping the best for ourselves? 

The current situation may make that difficult though. 😢

King Power don’t own us - Aiyawatt does.

Out of interest why are you keen for this to be the case?

 

Companies house has King Power as our owner yet people get very agitated about Aiyawatt owning us. Why.

The longer we are out of the Prem the more of a white elephant it becomes.

 

I'm just praying, against my better judgement, that we somehow manage to limp along with Seagrave in tow and even more importantly our Cat 1 youth academy as that is our only edge over clubs outside the top half of the EPL. 🙏

I think so. Also think there are limits on its sale value and what it can be used for that make us better off keeping it.

 

In an ideal world we'd keep it for the women and make them as world class as our youth team. Then eventually catch up with the men again.

Aiyawatt is a minor shareholder. If KP go bust, we go bust. If KP are basically in administration and Top was forced to step down by administrator of KP, wonder how bad KP get before administrators start to look at stripping out non-core activities, such as oversea football.

Nobody will pay serious money for it when they're expecting us to go into administration in the near future and the only suitors for it are Nottingham Forest 🤢🤮.

 

I think this is the one thing to do with our club where it is right to say 'be careful what you wish for'.
