Shame they haven't picked Rehan, so they at least have a spin option able to bowl a bit of variety

I think Rehan will secretly be delighted he’s not playing on this deck.

A couple of months ago I was thinking of getting tickets to this one, as well.

Bullet dodged there.

Save yourself some heatstroke lol

The team who won the toss would win or very least draw this match, knew it looking at the weather. However, this is getting pretty embarrassing now, they don't look like getting a wicket at all.

Apart from dropping a catch just then!

Ive admittedly only got into cricket in the last 5 or so years but I absolutely loath games like this. That goes for when we’re the batting side doing this too

Agreed the Lord's pitch got absolutely lambasted but at least we got an action packed test match! this is as bad if not worse for different reasons.

Good end to the day!

Indeed. Especially considering they were 300+ for 0.

Getting 4 in the final hour psychologically helps them for all the toil and strain from the whole day. Momentum for the morning at least...

**** me that was tough watching live. Thankfully the only stand with a proper roof providing shade.

Bashir needs standing down man. Tactics were shocking at times

Feel like Bashir has always just been a don't worry about how many runs or what rate he's going at he'll pick up wickets by being a target for batsman

He's literally picked because he's tall. He's bland and washed. Rehan is a wildcard, a maverick and can score 100s so why this guy keeps getting picked I don't know.

Which is incredibly non aggressive for a team which was labelled aggressive a couple of years ago.

Was saying yesterday Stokes steps down within a year tops and while Brook is probably the next captain, the team is void of personality at the moment. No real leaders out there. A couple of times yesterday you could see Root telling players off
