England showcased a really reaction performances after the changes behind the scenes. Getting rid of McCullum and distractions of Stokes seems to have made a difference. Hope this the turning point for England.

Won the last 7 teats at Leeds .

Shame we aren’t playing there again till 2029!

"teats" Fnarr, fnarr  lol

The Southern bias in ground use for internationals is awful.

Southampton has zero business being an Ashes venue at the expense of Headingley.

Back down to earth for  Bangladesh and some redemption for the Aussies ?

The Aussies will soon have to undergo a huge change in their Dads Army bowling attack.

Steve Smith is 37 & Labuschagne is a shadow of the player he was, is he finished ?

They have a really heavy Test schedule coming up too.

It's possible they'll have a very different looking squad for next year's Ashes.

ECB investigating Carse 'nightclub incident' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/articles/cg5l53d2ejmo

Never seem to learn......

Stokes' head in the background ofc. I had real sympathy listening to his interview with broad and buttler of a bloke wanting his family life back.

Then you flick to the next test match, another England player is being arrested at a night club and ofc Stokes' involved somewhere

Presumably the whole Durham team were out and obviously it’s the three most well known ones to get most attention.

You’d think Stokes in particular would want to be extra careful when out given people will know who he is and previous antics .

Always thought Stokes got off the lightly with the all criticism labelled at Key.

And it was glossed over when Broad said he had to 'babysit' Stokes on nights out and tempt him home with McDonalds.

I know it's probably difficult with local dickheads getting lairy with them but they don't have a brain cell between them.

Stokes is a twat, he's always out on it and seems to always be involved in the chaos that ensues.

Also one of the most naturally gifted and driven all rounders on the field England has ever produced.

What is it about genius in one area that lends itself to ego and idiocy in another? It's seen so often.

Root not particularly happy about the whole thing, then.

He looked absolutely fuming, and quite rightly. Entire set up is failing
